Martin and Kaitlyn decided to spend the day at the beach. After all, their house is right across the street, so why not take advantage and have some fun in the sun? Martin, for his part, wants to practice with his surfboard.

Kaitlyn, just relax in the hammock and get a little tan, if possible.

As usual, it doesn’t take long before the two of them put aside their respective activities to show their affection for one another.

Apart from the occasional onlooker, there aren’t many people around at this hour, so they can give free rein to their feelings.

Kaitlin: Did you know I love you?
Martin: I love you too. Did you know that?
Kaitlin: You can hardly tell.
Martin: Then I’ll have to make it crystal clear.
Kaitlin: Yes, please, thank you.

After proving their love for each other over and over again…
Kaitlyn: We should do this more often.
Martin: I agree, though it might not be possible in Dowon since there’s not a beach there.
Kaitlyn: Oh, so are we moving there already? When?
Martin: I don’t know exactly, but soon.

The rest of their day at the beach continued with idyllic bliss. But when night fell…
Unknown Guy: Hey, Kait, nice bonfire.
Kaitlyn: (Flushing) Thanks.
Unknown Guy: Aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend?
Kaitlyn: Oh, right, sorry. This is my boyfriend, Martin. Martin, this is…
Martin didn’t even hear the guy’s name; rage and jealousy rendered him momentarily deaf.

Martin: (To himself) Whatever his name is, he can go to hell with his stupid firework.
Needless to say, the rest of the evening wasn’t the same. Martin didn’t say a word, and all Kaitlyn wanted was for the ground to open up and swallow her.

Once home, Martin remained silent and spent the rest of the evening on the terrace.

Kaitlyn stayed inside, taking selfies for her Bubbly stories.

Since she couldn’t sleep, she watched videos on her phone until dawn… Martin fell asleep on the terrace. He’s still upset about what happened at the beach, but she isn’t worried. After all, she didn’t do anything wrong. That was literally just someone she met, not even a crush; he was nothing, just a pest.

Since Martin was still upset, Kaitlyn went out for a coffee. She tried to strike up a conversation with some guy, but he didn’t seem interested in her. Looks like today isn’t Kaitlyn’s day.
Kaitlyn: Bliss Bay isn’t good for my relationship with Marty, or my career. I can’t even make friends here anymore. I need a change of scene. As soon as I get home, I’ll talk to Marty. Either we move to Dowon now, or it’s over.

Three days later…
Kaitlyn: So? How do you like Dowon?
Martin: Hmm, it’s a bit chilly, but not bad.
Kaitlyn: True. The move was a bit hasty, though.
Martin: Ah, it’s fine. I’m used to sudden house moves.

Kaitlyn: Marty… About that guy at the beach, I…
Martin: You don’t have to explain anything.
Kaitlyn: But I want to. He was just a friend, I swear. See, I’ve dated a few guys, but so far, I’ve never…
Martin: Kait, I don’t want to hear it. We made a deal; I’ll stick to it. I just don’t wanna know the details, okay?
Kaitlyn: Okay. So, are we good now?
Martin: Yeah, we’re good.
And so began Martin and Kaitlyn’s “new life” in Dowon.
