Prom Night – Part 2

They’re announcing the winners of prom king and queen, who, unfortunately, aren’t Zeke and Gladys.

Gladys: Well, it looks like we didn’t win.
Zeke: You think so? It seems to me that I did win tonight.

Gladys: Aw, Zeke, you’re so sweet.
Zeke: No, you are sweet.
And while Zeke and Gladys seem lost in their own world…

The new prom king and queen have received their sash and crown.
Trinity: Oh my God, Zhi, we won! Can you believe it?
Zhixuan: Of course I can cause I always win.
Trinity: Really? Well, this is my first time.
Zhixuan: Good for you, then.
Mr. Holder: Congratulations, kids, you deserve it. Please, a round of applause for Trinity Fuller and Zhixuan Chu!
Zhixuan: Why did he say your name first? I’m the king!
Trinity: Will you stop being such a jerk, Zhi?

The applause comes immediately… from some at least, because others don’t look so happy with the result.
Zhixuan doesn’t seem impressed either, but it’s obvious that Trinity is delighted.
Trinity: Yes! I won! I’m the queen!

Others, like Shiho Fuji, don’t seem enthusiastic at all, not because of the election results, but because what is going on back there with Zeke Wilson and Gladys Armstrong. It’s no secret that Shiho has a crush on Zeke, but everyone’s saying he asked Gladys to be his girlfriend tonight, is that true? If it is, she needs to do something about it!
