InZOI Gameplay – Tyron Cho Arrives in Dowon

My story “The Cho Brothers” hasn’t been officially transferred to InZOI yet, but there are already some updates on the Cho family in Dowon, which is the city where I thought it appropriate to set them. A while ago I shared a sneak peek of Terence and Dale (see this post), now let’s take a look at the oldest of the brothers, Tyron.

InZOI’s Tyron Cho is still a work in progress, mainly because I haven’t found the perfect hair for him yet. Also due to my particular issues with this kind of sliders, which make it very difficult for me to customize my characters’ faces the way I want. In that regard, The Sims 3 will always be my favorite for its incredible and easy-to-use sliders. Anyway, this hair doesn’t look that bad on Tyron, plus, since a few years have passed when the story picks up in InZOI, it’s not strange that he’s using a different hairstyle.

At the start of this sequel, Tyron has moved to Dowon with just his daughter Brandi. Kayla hasn’t arrived yet, so he’s looking for ways to take his mind off things. One of them is going to the Arcade. The latter is kind of a tribute to Ty’s teenage years with his brothers.

As a full-time single dad, Tyron needs to get out and take his mind off things every now and then, so today he left Brandi with her babysitter and went to unwind a bit, trying his luck at the claw machine.

No way! That was close, but he missed it on the last second.

Today wasn’t a good day. Tyron is so annoyed and bored that he took it out on the newspaper dispenser, but it backfired cause he hurt his foot. Yeah, anger never leads to anything good, Ty.

Tyron isn’t a short-tempered guy; on the contrary, he’s a real softie. So we don’t think he’s upset just because he’s bored or lost an arcade game, there’s definitely something else that worries him.

That “something” consists of a few factors: first, he misses Kayla; second, he’s taking a break from his singing career, so he misses the stage. Third, and most important, his ex-wife Candice has just moved to Dowon, to be closer to Brandi, she says. Tyron thinks she only came because Jasper dumped her… for the second time. Oh well.

A close-up of Tyron. Like I said, he’s a work in progress. It hasn’t been easy to transfer my characters from The Sims 3 to InZOI, especially the Cho Brothers, who are so dear to me.

To create Ty in InZOI, I used his brother Dale, whom I created first, as a base, then just changed some details like his hair and eye color. Dale has dark hair and brown eyes, just like his father and grandfather. Tyron and Terence have blond hair like their mother, although Terence’s eyes are also brown. As for where Tyron’s light-colored eyes came from, I can’t remember right now, lol, the family is so large that those eyes could have come from anyone in the extended family. 😄

Anyway, as a celebrity, it’s been hard for Ty to turn his life around overnight, stepping away from the spotlight (for now) to devote himself body and soul to his daughter. Taking care of Brandi isn’t new to him, he’s taken care of her since she was a baby, but being a stay-at-home dad, that’s a whole new ballgame.

To take his mind off his worries, Tyron went out to check out Dowon’s nightlife. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Although he would have loved Kayla to be there with him.

It was kind of comforting to experience a little of what he’s used to as a famous guy.

Another thing he’s used to as a celebrity is turning women’s heads, and the women at Dowon are no exception. Lots of pretty girls that night, but sorry, ladies, Tyron isn’t single, he hasn’t been for about four years. And even though he and Kayla chose not to get married, their love has stood the test of time.

Of course, there’s nothing stopping him from striking up friendly conversations with the girls here, as long as it’s always done with respect and making it crystal clear that he’s already in a serious relationship.

Another day of solitude, but also of relaxation by the pool at the park.

Tyron finds himself wondering what life will be like here once Kayla arrives, and if Candice will be a source of trouble for them. Kayla, of course, is a mature and level-headed girl, but Candice is problematic by nature, so… only God knows.

Another close-up. I loved the colors during the Beta test of the new Unreal Engine. All these photos of Tyron were taken during that test. We’re using the new engine now, but I feel like the colors don’t look as they did here. There was some sort of “warmth” to the lighting, if that makes sense. Also, after the April update the zois faces look different, the contours of the chin and jawline look a bit odd. We’ll be able to check that later in Tyron’s photos taken after the update.

One thing that really relaxes Ty is spending time in the pool, whether he’s swimming or just splashing around on a floatie, which he doesn’t actually need since he’s a great swimmer. The Cho Brothers are all great athletes.

By the way, this photo shows exactly what I was telling you about the colors and lighting. Look at the plants in the background, the depth, and how Tyron’s figure stands out against them. I can’t quite explain it, but it was really beautiful to see. I feel like it doesn’t look the same anymore. The new graphics are nice, maybe even better, but I don’t know, I really liked this other vibe.

I loved taking photos like this during the beta test, and I really enjoyed playing this save. I also loved this house, I’d give it credit, but I don’t remember what it was called, and I can’t go check it out because it disappeared after the lot sizes change update.
