And now here’s a little more from the Wilsons. Sorry, no Allan for now, he’s still getting himself together after his latest shenanigans. 🤭

The Wilsons recently moved to Brindleton Bay. Lukas and Zeke look a little bit lost there. That’s because they’re both bored out of their minds since Allan went to that rehab clinic in Willow Creek, where he’s currently an inpatient, so they won’t see him for a few days, maybe months.

Zeke: Where did you say Dad went?
Lukas: He’s in a rehab clinic.
Zeke: What’s a rehab clinic?
Lukas: A place where they put you in, like a hospital.
Zeke: Dad is sick?
Lukas: You could say so.

Nothing is the same without Allan, even sunny Brindleton Bay looks gray and cloudy today. And the new house, it’s nice, but nothing like the home they had before Allan relapsed.

Zoe also seems a bit absent-minded, probably thinking about the talks she and Allan will have when he has recovered. When that happens, a series of decisions will have to be made, perhaps not all of them easy.

The girls are of course worried about the mental health and well-being of both their parents. They know Allan is well taken care of now, but what about Zoe?
Kennedy: Do you think mom is going to be okay?
Anika: Well, I don’t know, Dad sure made a mess this time, but mom loves him, and she’s still here, so, maybe yes?

Other than cooking a lot, Zoe spends most of her time in the pool, it’s her way of blowing off steam and dealing with things: Allan’s relapse, Fabian’s affair, and the sudden moving house. The weather these days is not the best for swimming, but she’s a great athlete, so she can endure it. “Endure” is Zoe’s specialty at this point.

Girls have other ways of dealing with things, one of which is watching funny videos. It’s not a distraction that we can say is durable, but it brings them plenty of good times.

Sometimes the funny videos on Social Bunny just aren’t enough, so, since it’s summer, the Wilson kids decided to accept an invitation to a get-together at the home of their friends, Ethan and Casey Caliente, in Oasis Springs.

Practically everyone is there, including Orange Bailey-Moon, who, by the way, is still not paying much attention to Kennedy. Orange is still a bit immature, maybe she should start looking for other options.

Anyway, it’s a good opportunity for Anika to revisit some of her good friendships, like the one she has with Savannah Price. They haven’t talked since the whole situation with Allan, which was leaked to the press and social media. So Savannah and the rest of Anika’s friends are aware of what Anika and her family are going through.

Savannah: Aw, Nika, it is so good to see you! I hope all is well with your family.
Anika: Thank you, Sav, yeah, a little slow but dad is getting better.
Savannah: That’s great to hear.

Savannah: So how are things going with Alexander? You guys are still together, right?
Anika: Yeah, but to be honest, we haven’t seen each other since dad, well… you know. And then with the moving and all that…
Savannah: I get it.

Anika: Anyway, Alex and I are looking forward to some quality time together today.
Savannah: Lucky you. I wish the guy I like wanted to spend ‘quality time’ with me.
Anika: So you like someone, may I know who he is?
Well, that the boy Savannah likes is standing right beside her, so she can’t answer Anika now.
Savannah: Uh, yeah, I’ll tell you later, now I think we should go inside.

Once inside the house, and since Orange is not very talkative, Kennedy went to get a book. On her way back to the living room she couldn’t help looking at that friend of the Caliente boys, what’s his name? Ah, yes, Yosef.

The book wasn’t very interesting, so Kennedy concentrates on checking her social media, lots of messages, none from Orange. Bummer. Meanwhile, Alexander looks impatient – where has Anika gotten to?

Well, Anika is still outside with Savannah, who was filling her in on who the guy she’s interested in is. Her crush turned out to be Anika’s brother, Lukas, now that was quite a surprise for her. As they were talking, Ethan and Casey’s mother, Nina, arrived.

Savannah quickly said hello and went into the house. Lukas instantly followed her. Maybe he’s also interested in her? If only! It’s time to forget about that fool Lucas Munch. Anika stays outside for a few moments to introduce herself to Nina.

As Allan’s good daughter, Anika likes to build friendships and social networks with new people, and Mrs. Caliente seems like an interesting, fun person to get to know.

Alexander got desperate and went out to find Anika, who, once Nina entered the house, greeted him with a loving kiss.

And then the two of them went on a tour of the Caliente house, starting with the bedroom, of course.
Anika: We have to be quick, there are too many people in the house, someone might come.
Alexander: Okay.

Like I said before, Anika is her father’s worthy daughter. Hopefully in the future she won’t get into as much trouble as he has.

In the living room, the reunion continues, no one knows where Anika and Alexander are, and they prefer not to ask. Savannah hopes to strike up a conversation with Lukas at some point. Kennedy has to settle for chatting with Yosef since Orange hasn’t even looked at her. Typical spoiled celebrity brat!

Kennedy has to admit that she’s having a pretty good time chatting with Yosef and Savannah. At least much better than with that bore Orange.

Meanwhile, Anika is already back from her escapade with Alexander. She doesn’t seem entirely satisfied.
Anika: Well, I expected him to be quick but not that quick. Anyway, he’ll get better.

Before she could rejoin the rest of her friends, Anika got caught up in a conversation with Ethan in the hallway.
Ethan: Mom told me she just met you; she’s really impressed, she’s super fan of your dad.
Anika: Oh, really? Wow.

Ethan: In fact. all of us here are big Allan Wilson fans, we don’t miss any of his movies.
Anika: You don’t say…
Ethan: Yes, and of course we all wish him well soon and back to work.
Anika: Uh, that’s very kind, thank you, Ethan.

Anika checks her phone to see if there are any important messages and in passing avoids continuing this conversation. Sure, she appreciates the Caliente’s good wishes, but she came here to distract herself, not to talk about her father’s condition.

Meanwhile in the living room, Kennedy is fully engaged in conversation with Yosef, while Savannah continues to pray that Lukas will make a move on her.

It seems her prayers were heard, because Lukas, bored to death with that jerk Orange, opts to make conversation with her. After all, Savannah is a thousand times more attractive than Orange, at least in Lukas’ eyes.

Yes! Score one for Savannah, let’s hope things stay that way. Sorry for Diego, who, from the way he’s been looking at Savannah all afternoon, is obviously attracted to her as well.

In the mean time, Anika has finally managed to get away from Ethan. Nothing wrong with him. He’s cute and a nice guy, but she’s not in the mood right now. Too many things going on in her life.

Since she’s in the bathroom, she takes the opportunity to freshen up a bit before returning to the gathering.

Back at the living room, Lukas finally worked up the courage to approach Savannah. She doesn’t seem very interested in his funny videos, she’d rather chat, but it’s not bad for a start.

After a while, though…
Savannah: Oh, wait, I actually love that video! It’s really cool!
Lukas: Right? I love it too.

They both end up laughing at the same things and discovering that they have practically the same tastes in videos, as well as the same favorite SimTubers.

Lukas: Since you and I enjoy the same videos, maybe you’d like watching a movie with me one of these days?
Savannah: Serious?
Lukas: Sure.
Savannah: Wow, yes, I’d love to! Savannah can’t believe her luck. (Take that Lucas Munch!)

Night is already falling in Oasis Springs.

Anika is going back home. She and Alexander already talked; all is well between them.

Kennedy is also on her way back. There was no progress at all with Orange, but she and Yosef exchanged phone numbers, and he’s already texting her. Yosef is very cute. Maybe it’s the start of something good?

Once at home, Lukas has gone to sleep peacefully. Today he started something with Savannah. He’s thinking of just a friendship for now, but it’s the first step to forget Lucas Munch. It’s about time.
