Patrick: Ace? What the hell, why are you still here?
Ace: I want to talk to you, man.

Patrick: But I don’t, so please leave or else…
Ace: Okay, chill dude, I’m out.

Ace finally got the memo and decided to leave Pat alone.
Ace: He’s in a terrible mood, best not piss him off any more. Man, I swear to God I’ll never joke with Jun again.

When Pat heads for the bedroom, he comes face to face with Jun. Oh no, why is she still here? 😖

Patrick: Jun, I thought you would’ve left by now.
Jun: Not yet, we need to talk.
Patrick: Sorry, but I don’t feel like talking with you right now.

Jun: Why? I didn’t do anything wrong.
Patrick: Really? You were flirting with my best friend.
Jun: I wasn’t flirting, Ace was, and he was joking anyway.
Patrick: Yeah? Well, it didn’t seem so to me.

Patrick: Joke or not, you should’ve stopped him, but you just went along with it.
Jun: …
From Jun’s expression we can see how bored she is with Patrick’s unfounded jealousy. The whole situation is quite annoying, and at the same time surprising; she never imagined Pat was the insecure type.

This one time she’s going to let it slide, because she gets he’s tired and angry. And she’s tired too, so she’ll talk to him another day, when/if his insecurities subside.

She took a few minutes to change into her winter clothes and finally headed for the exit.

Pat is now in the kitchen, probably ruminating on his courage, or mustering up the courage to stop Jun at the last minute, who knows? It seems like a struggle between the jealous, old-fashioned Pat vs. the modern, open-minded one.

Well, it seems that for tonight the jealous-selfish Pat triumphed and let Jun go. Hopefully she’ll be back, though at this point we don’t know if she’s willing to deal with this kind of crap in the future. 😓
