Another day at the Wilson’s household, Anika is practicing the violin, she really hates it, but she does it to please her father.

In fact, only he and Zeke have the courage to attend her practices, and to tell the truth, Zeke doesn’t seem very interested.

Zoe is not working today, but is taking care of some business over the phone.

When she and Allan walk in the kitchen for breakfast, they find that Lukas has beaten them to it.
Allan: Hey, Kas, what are you doing here so early?
Zoe: Do you have to go to work or something?

Lukas: Er, no. Thing is I need to talk to you, guys, or rather ask you for advice.
Zoe: Well, I’m all ears.
Lukas: Just please don’t get mad at me for what I’m about to tell you.
Allan: Come on, son, you know you can trust in us. Spill the beans already.

Minutes later, Lukas has informed his parents about his crush on Lucas Munch and has asked them for advice on what to do. Zoe is left in limbo; Allan desperately washes dishes as he thinks just what to answer to his son.

Zoe: So Lucas Munch, huh?
Lukas: Yes. I hope you don’t mind. After all he’s a friend of the house and my bff too.
Allan: I don’t mind at all, he’s a nice guy…
Lukas: But?
Allan: Oh, no, no buts.

Allan turns away to hide his concern. He doesn’t care that Lukas likes boys and girls, what he doesn’t want is for him to suffer for it, like he did back in the day.
Zoe: Wasn’t Lucas your sister Kennedy’s crush?
Lukas: Oh, no, Kennedy isn’t interested in Lucas at all. She likes Orange Bailey-Moon now.

Zoe: True… But what happens with you and Molly Prescott?
Lukas: I knew you’d ask that. Well, I do like Molly, but I like Lucas more. What I don’t know is if he likes me. Do you think it’s worth talking to him, or should I just forget him and stick with Molly?

Allan: *To himself*. Molly or Lucas, tough call. Been there, done that. It feels like hell, but you have to choose at some point.

Zoe: Well, I think you should follow your heart, hon. But before you give up on Molly you have to find out if Lucas feels the same way about you.
Lukas: Yeah, that’s just what I’m saying. Dad? What’s your advice?

Allan: My advice? Well, I agree that you must follow your heart, but also your head before you make any decisions. That’s what I did – ahem, what I’d do, in your situation.

Allan: I also think you should talk to Lucas about it first.
Zoe: That’s right sweetie, tell Lucas how you feel, that’s the only way to know if he reciprocates. If he doesn’t, you still have Molly.
Lukas: Okay, that’s what I’ll do, thank you both, and thank you as well for not judging me.
Zoe: We would never do that, dear.

Allan: *To himself *. Of course we wouldn’t, much less me, who went through exactly the same situation. Good luck with Lucas though, hopefully he won’t break your heart like I broke Daisuke’s and Fabian’s.
Lukas: What about you, dad, aren’t you disappointed in me?

Allan: Of course I’m not, in fact, I will support you in whatever your decision is and I’ll always be there for you, no matter what.
Lukas: Even if I date Lucas and the paparazzi take pictures of us to publish them everywhere?

Lukas: I wouldn’t want your career and your celebrity reputation to be affected because of me and Lucas.
Allan: Honestly, I don’t think you guys could damage my reputation more than I’ve damaged it myself, so go ahead, I’ll stand by you.
Lukas: Aw, thanks, dad, you’re the best!

Once Allan and Zoe are left alone…
Zoe: Lukas and Lucas, what a surprise, huh?
Allan: Yeah.
Zoe: What do you really think, Al? Because I for one am hundred percent with our son.
Allan: So am I. I’ll support him to the end; I just hope he doesn’t get hurt out of all this.
Zoe: *Sigh*. Me too.
