Notes About the Episodes:
Since this blog is new, it will start with the most recent episodes, which are E213 and E214. More episodes will be added weekly (or more often if possible) and can be found in the Categories section at the top of the sidebar of this blog, under Time Traveler, here.
Episodes from 212 backwards, for now, can only be found on my old blog here. Episodes from 213 on aren’t available at my old site.
If you wish to read episodes 1-212 in chronological order, you can go to the first episode at the old site here and click on the Newer Post button to read the next ones.
You can also start reading the first episodes in this website, by clicking on the Time Traveler button and then Episodes 1-20, from the top menu. I’ll be adding pages with past episodes in batches of 20 as frequently as I can, which will probably take me a few months, so thanks for your patience and understanding.
Finally, some of the episodes, especially the first ones, are not really such, they are more like random parts of a gameplay that later became the Time Traveler story. The word “episode”, and the numbers were added to give them a sequence.
Time Traveler, Part I
Episode 1
Here we see Robin, before his first change of look, and before the many changes I’ve done to his house, Auspicious Atoll, 1360 Wet Basin Bend.
Robin is a workaholic, he dedicates his whole day to design and create Nanites and Trait Chips for his plumbots, which he sells at the Bot Emporium, that huge bots store in Oasis Landing. Here we can see him at the beginning of his career, when he was just a simple Manipulator.
Robin takes a nap before he continues with his work
Digging at the Barren Wasteland in search of the keys to open the secret chamber at the Crash Site. He found them eventually and was able to enter the chamber, but then I deleted the keys by accident, now Robin has to look for them again. 😋
Robin, the day he met his first true love, Juliette Shen. Juliette had a boyfriend already, but that didn’t prevent her from falling in love with Robin too. (About this romance and how it ended we’ll talk later).
Robin is ready to embark on his first travel in time to a new destination: Aurora Skies, the homeland of Juliette Shen and her family, in the ‘Present’ which for Robin is more like the ‘Past’.
It’s the first time Robin uses the time portal in this game save.
Oops, the landing in Aurora Skies wasn’t very pleasant. Anyway, we’ll see what adventures await him in this new place, to which he has come with a mission. Which one? We’ll see!
Episode 2
On arrival to Aurora Skies, Robin changed his appearance in order to look more like a guy from the Present (the Past for him, actually). On his trip he took some of his favorite futuristic objects and his first bot creation, Five.
Episode 3
Back to the future, after seeing Juliette and her family in the past, Robin was visited by his best friend, Judith Planeson. She wanted to ask him for a favor, which turned out to be the same Juliette had asked him.
“Please, Robin, come to the University with Juliette and me”.
“The University, you mean in the past?”
“It’s the present, actually, don’t forget it”.
Robin couldn’t say no to Judith, so goodbye Oasis Landing for now. 😞
Episode 4: Where am I?
Next thing he knew, Robin was at a University in the Past, sharing a dorm with other three students:
His friend Judith Planeson.
His “crush”, Juliette Shen.
And Juliette’s brother Dustin, who happened to be Judith’s boyfriend. All of them enrolled in the same degree program: Science and Medicine.
Episode 5: At the Proving Ground
Robin, Juliette, Judith and Dustin, studying at one of the few places in the past Robin truly enjoys, the School of Science Proving Ground.
Episode 6: New Potion, First Attempt
Dustin, trying to make a potion ratando at the chemistry table.
Robin tried as well, but these potions aren’t his thing.
Episode 7: Reventlov’s Bot Workshop
Robin took his Reventlov’s Bot Workshop with him to the University, so he could continue learning to design Nanites and Trait Chips. The agreement with his friends was to hide the Bot Workshop from other university students. No one should know (at least not yet) that Robin came from the Future.
Episode 8: The First Class
Judith and Juliette try not to get too bored on their first class.
Meanwhile, Robin stayed at home, studying and practicing at the Lab Station.
Episode 9: The First Love
Juliette was Robin’s first true love, no doubt, but – who was Juliette’s first love? Ask poor Gilon Mannin, who has no idea what’s going on at the University right now.
Episode 10: Enhancing the Brain
Robin and Dustin, enhancing (¿?) their brains in class.
Episode 11. Dustin Changes his Look
Dustin changed his hairstyle and outfit for something more in tune with the Present. Too bad he has to use an old bicycle too instead of the technologically advanced means of transport of the future.
Episode 12. Judith and the Science Research Station
Judith has loved living in the Present, her favorite hobby is to use the Science Research Station. Her and the entire team’s goal is to succeed at the horticulture experiment and obtain the Forbidden Fruit.
Episode 13. A Simple Question
The girls are in class, Robin and Dustin are watching TV during their break.
“Hey, Dust, do you think Juliette likes me?
“She undoubtedly does”.
“Do you think she would accept if I’d ask her to be my girlfriend?
“I don’t know, bud. She’s been Gilon’s girl for years, in fact they planned to get married after her graduation”.
“Maybe she’s changed her mind.”
“Well, maybe you should ask her“.
Episode 14. Juliette’s Dilemma
Juliette got a call from her parents while Judith had fun dancing to the stereo music.
“What did your parents say, Jul? Any news about Gilon?
“Yes, Dad talked to him through Super’s Holo-Projector. It seems like everything’s fine in Oasis Landing 2054.
“Cool”.
“Say, Judy, do you think I should break up with Gil and accept to be Robin’s girlfriend?
“I don’t know, Jul, that’s your call”.
“Come on, Jud, I need your advice”.
“My advice is to be careful. Robin is cute, but he has some, hm, unresolved issues”.
“What kind of issues?”.
“Maybe you should ask him”.
Episode 15. A Machine from the Past
“This machine from the past looks a bit old and primitive, but somehow interesting”.
“Hm, I never heard anything about a ‘horticulture experiment’ in Oasis Landing”.
“Or about that thing they call the Forbidden Fruit. I think it may be worth a try.”
Episode 16. Dustin, the Perfectionist
Dustin can’t see a trashcan lying on the floor, he has to pick it up, that’s because he’s a Perfectionist, and he has the Proper trait as well, that’s why he always goes around the campus in his formal clothes.
Episode 17. First Bowling Lesson
It’s Judith’s first bowling lesson, Juliette kindly offered to teach her.
Judith gets ready.
“And… here I go”.
“…”
“What?” But – what just happened?”
“Hm, I think you gotta give it another try, Jud”.
“I’d rather go out for lunch, these games from the Present are kind of absurd”.
“Come on, Judy, it’s not that difficult, I’ll show you.”
“You just have to concentrate… “
“Prepare yourself, and…”
“Oops, that didn’t go well either”.
“Well, I’ll give it another try. Watch me!”.
“Can we go out for lunch first?”
Episode 18. Robin and Juliette’s First Date
Robin and Juliette’s first date was simple, they just watched the stars together outside their dorm. They didn’t say much and nothing transcendent happened, but they had a great time together.
Everything is going well except for one thing: Juliette already has a boyfriend.
Of course, none of the two remembered that “little detail” during the whole evening, and as they said goodnight many things were left unsaid.
Episode 19. Now What?
None of the two slept well that night, Robin went to bed feeling like he was doing something wrong. It was not only the fact that Juliette had a boyfriend, but all this mess with the Present and the Future. If he started a relationship with her, should he stay in the “Past” and never return to Oasis Landing, or should he take her to the Future with him?
Juliette, on the other hand, was really confused. She felt like she loved Gilon, but she liked Robin so much! What was she going to do now?
Episode 20. A Serious Conversation
The next morning, on their way to school, Robin didn’t say a word about the night before, and this made Juliette feel even more confused.
When returned home, Judith quickly became aware of the situation.
“Hey, I think you two should talk”.
“Rob, can we go outside? Juliette asked.
“Of course, let’s go”, he answered.
They went out for dinner, it was their second date, during which they had a serious conversation. He confessed his feelings to her and she told him she felt the same way, she just didn’t know what to do about Gilon. She’d like to break up with him, but she was afraid to hurt him”.
“Have you talked to Gilon already? Robin asked the next evening.
“Not yet”, Juliette replied.
Robin was starting to despair.
