Okay so, this post is not really about Tyler Adams. It’s about Alyssa and her mother, Allison. But still Tyler’s family so, here it goes.

Alyssa has already left school and is now on her way to her mom’s house, where she’ll be staying for a few days.

A few minutes later, she’s already with Allison and has a lot to tell her.
Alyssa: Last night was fun—Dad took Brittany and me trick-or-treating.
Allison: That’s great, but just the three of you? Didn’t Weizhi come?
Alyssa: No. She stayed home with Tiffany.

Alyssa: Tiffany is my little sister; she’s still a baby. You should meet her—she’s really cute.
Allison: Oh, is she?
Alyssa: Yes.

Alyssa: Brittany and I love her, and we always want to play with her, but Weizhi says we have to be careful cause she’s still too little to play.
Allison: That’s right, sweetie…
(But of course, Tyler had yet another daughter with Weizhi. As for meeting her… Well, who knows if she ever will. So far, she hasn’t been invited to Tyler’s house even once.)
Allison: Ahem, okay, honey, I think we’re all caught up. Now, go do your homework cause we’re about to have dinner.

Alyssa follows her mother’s advice and goes upstairs to do her homework as quickly as she can.

It’s hard not to get distracted by other things while she’s on the computer, but she does her best.

It’s finally dinnertime; Alyssa was eager to enjoy her mother’s cooking again.

Alyssa: Mmm, this is delicious, Mom.
Allison: Thanks, sweetie. I’m glad you like it.

Allison isn’t much of a cook, but she knows Alyssa’s favorite dishes and has tried to perfect them as much as possible.

She knows she’ll never be able to compete with Weizhi, since she’s an excellent cook, especially when it comes to traditional Dowon dishes. Maybe that’s another reason why Tyler loves her? Oh no, once again she’s thinking about Tyler and his marriage to Weizhi. it’s about time she focuses on her own life and on her daughter, who is the only one who should matter to her.

Alyssa is back on the computer, but this time just to play games and watch some funny videos. It’s not bedtime yet, so she can have some fun for a while.

Her computer time is up, so now she’s keeping herself entertained by striking funny poses in the mirror, until her mom calls her from the hallway.

Allison: I was thinking, how about we go to the movies tomorrow after school?

Alyssa: Oh, yes, please, I love going to the movies! Dad and Weizhi take me and Brittany every weekend.
Allison: Oh, really?
Alyssa: Yeah, it is super fun!
Allison: I see…

Allison: Well, maybe we should go somewhere else, you might want to do something different this weekend.
Alyssa: Oh, no, not at all. It’ll be fun to go to the movies with you.
Allison: Okay, then it’s a deal. We’ll go to the movies and then we’ll have whatever you want for dinner.
Alyssa: Cool! Thanks, mommy.

It’s bedtime. Alyssa is really excited about tomorrow. She’s been to the movies many times, but never with her mom, so she can’t wait.

Though, it’s going to feel a bit strange going without Dad. Hopefully one day she’ll be able to go with both of them at the same time.

Well, time to go to sleep.
Alyssa: Good night, Teddy Bear; good night, little lamp cat. Good night, Mom, Dad, Brittany, Tiffany, and Weizhi.

Alyssa’s already asleep, Allison just got a text message from Tyler.
Tyler: Everything okay over there?
Allison: Yeah, don’t worry—Lyssa did her homework, had dinner, and is asleep now.
Tyler: Good. I hope you guys are having a good time.
Allison: Yeah, Alyssa is really happy.
Tyler: Great. Give her a good night kiss from me.
Allison: Sure. Have a good night, Ty.
Tyler: You too, Alli.

Allison feels a wave of nostalgia wash over her for a moment. Sometimes she misses Tyler terribly, but she knows they can’t be together without fighting and arguing, so living separate lives was best for both of them—and for Lyssa, too.

Everyone is happy now—at least Tyler is, with Weizhi. As for herself, maybe she should start going out and try to meet someone she clicks with? We’ll see.

It’s another day, Alyssa is ready to go to school.

But before her mother calls her for breakfast, she decides to tell Teddy Bear about her concerns.
Alyssa: I don’t want to bother you, especially this early, but I have a question…

Alyssa: Why can’t Mom and Dad live together again? I mean, I get that they fight a lot and all that, but they could give it a try.

Alyssa: Sure, Dad married Weizhi and we live in a different house now. Mom has a new house too, which is nice, but…

Alyssa: Why can’t we all live in the same house? That would be great, don’t you think? Dad’s house is huge, and there’s an extra room—Mom could stay there. That way I wouldn’t have to leave Brittany and Tiffany behind when I want to see her.

Alyssa: Wouldn’t that be awesome? I think it would.

Alyssa: I think it’s a great idea. I’ll ask Dad what he thinks. What do you say, Teddy Bear?
Teddy Bear:
Alyssa: Anyway, I have to go get breakfast and then I’m off to school, so I’ll talk to you later. Have a good day, Teddy Bear.

Bonus pic: A close-up of little Lyssa to wrap up this gameplay featuring Tyler Adams and his adorable family. They’ll be back as the story progresses. Thanks for reading this far! 🤗💖
