Getting to Know Nathan Littler

Today in The Kingstons of Bridgeport, we’re going to talk about Nathan Littler. But how is a Littler related to the Kingstons? To begin with, Nathan is the son of Jupiter Littler and Belisama Hemlock.

Belisama, as we know, was married to Randy Kingston and had two children, Roddy and Megan Kingston. As they are Belisama’s children, Roddy and Megan are Nathan’s half-siblings. (I’m not entirely sure, when Jupiter and Belisama had Nathan, whether it was before or after her marriage to Randy Kingston, though).

And let’s not forget Deidre Littler, Jupiter’s half-sister and Nathan’s aunt. Deidre was Randy’s wife too (before Belisama and Elspeth). Therefore, we can see that Randy is the common thread in Nathan’s relationship with the Kingstons. Having been married to Belisama. Randy is something of a stepfather to him. And having been married to Nathan’s aunt Deidre, Randy would also be his uncle-in-law. Whew!

In this family tree, we can also see that Nathan is the half-brother of David Littler, son of Jupiter Littler and Bonnie Kingston, sister of Randy Kingston. So there you have another connection between Nathan and the Kingstons. It’s complicated, I know, as in all my stories, but I had to explain how Nathan Littler is related to the Kingstons and to the Hemlocks. Here we can see his entire family tree back to his grandparents, Reuben Littler and Lola Belle, (Jupiter’s parents); and Wogan and Morrigan Hemlock, (Belisama’s parents).

Anyway, it turns out that Diedre Littler received a call from her nephew Nathan saying he wanted to talk to her.

What Nathan wanted was that, since he had recently become a young adult, he needed Deidre to help him convince Jupiter to let him move out on his own.

The two of them went to talk to Jupiter and didn’t have much trouble convincing him because, truth be told, Jupiter had never been good at being a father, and the fact that Nathan wanted to live on his own and even get a job to support himself was a relief to him.

Mission accomplished. Nathan is now an independent adult and, with the help of Jupiter and Deidre, has found a place of his own to live.

The hard part was finding a job, it wasn’t easy cause his Lifetime Wish is to be a Rock Star, but he has to start from the bottom, so he enrolled in the Music career in Bridgeport.

Another concern for Nathan is finding a girlfriend, because he doesn’t want to live alone, so he started by introducing himself to this attractive woman he met while training in the pool.

He even tried a pickup line or two with her, but she immediately stopped him to inform him that, first of all, she is married. She is none other than Brenda Fangman, wife of William Fangman. As if that weren’t enough, Brenda is the daughter of Randy Kingston and Deidre Littler, which means she is both Nathan’s cousin and stepsister. Like I said, it’s complicated.

Nathan: So my cousin, huh?
Brenda: Yes. I can’t believe you weren’t aware of that. Practically everyone in Bridgeport knows our family tree!
Just great. Now Nathan has to stop staring at Brenda’s b… bathing suit.

Nathan: I apologize. I didn’t mean to act inappropriately. I don’t want any issues with William either.
Brenda: No problem. Now, if you don’t mind, I’ll continue with my routine.
Nathan: Sure, have a nice day, cousin.
Nathan will leave the pool now.

Later at Steve’s, he met Josephine, another daughter of Randy Kingston and his aunt Deidre, also Brenda’s sister, therefore his cousin as well. Nathan is starting to feel annoyed. Is there anyone in Bridgeport who isn’t related to him, a Littler or a Kingston? Whatever the case, both Brenda and Josephine ended up becoming some of Nathan’s best friends. Josephine even invited him to join her band.

And Jo is married to Jett Atkins, one of Nathan’s best friends.

Since he couldn’t find any girls who were single, interesting, and not related to him, he decided to spend the rest of the day locked up at home playing video games.

It’s an incredible feeling to have his own place, be free to do what he wants, without having to deal with his vampire father’s shenanigans. Here he can truly relax. On the other hand, though, the piano is waiting for him. He has to practice if he wants to advance in his career.

Well, he practiced all afternoon, now a quick dinner and off to bed.

It wasn’t a very fortunate day, but surely tomorrow will be better.

His childhood and teenage years were not very joyful, so hopefully his adult life will at least be interesting and productive.
