Like I said before, Allan and Kaden decided to take a short vacationin Cahaya.

They stayed at the Private Water Villa, a cabin by the sea, a little further away from the rest of the resort facilities.

As soon as they arrived, and before anything else, they caught up on each other’s lives. Kaden told Allan about his business career, his job at Plutus Financial, and that he was currently single.

Allan told him about his career as an actor, his life in Del Sol Valley, his fame, and his past with alcohol, which now, or at least for the moment, is behind him. He also told him about his marriage with Zoe, although he didn’t mention that the divorce hadn’t been settled yet. But at some point, tonight, he’d find a way to tell him.

One thing Allan was very honest about was his feelings for Kaden and his intention to take their relationship to the next level, though personally, he believes they should take things slowly, which Kaden strongly agreed with.

With all this clarified, they both went out to enjoy an evening stroll through Cahaya.

During their walk, they stopped at a nearby café, and then Kaden had to take a business call. Allan couldn’t help feeling a little jealous.

Allan: Business matters, huh? Don’t they know you’re on vacation?
Kaden: Some clients just can’t wait.
Allan: Yeah, sure.

Kaden: Hey, you’re not thinking there’s someone else, are you?
Allan: No, not at all, I…
Kaden: Al, I’m here with you. I agreed to live together and to take this trip. I have nothing to hide; we just talked about it.
Allan: That’s true, I’m sorry.

Kaden: Hey, it’s okay.
Allan: Actually, no. It’s not okay. I told you I was divorced, but the divorce hasn’t been settled, the court case dragged on, so I don’t know when I’ll actually be free.
Kaden: Al, seriously, it’s okay. I know who you are and what you have been through. I read the newspapers and the internet.
Allan: So you knew?
Kaden: What I know is that you’re going through a divorce. That must not be easy. You got enough on your plate, so please, don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.

ON THE WAY TO THE VILLA…
Allan: Hey, Kade, are you sure it’s okay?
Kaden: Of course it is, I’ve told you a thousand times.
Allan: Really? Cause we don’t have to go on with this if you aren’t…

Kaden: Hey. I am sure. I want us to go on. We’ll deal with everything else when the time comes. For now, let’s just enjoy the night, okay?
Allan: (Takes a deep breath) Okay.

And so they did. It was the most wonderful night Allan had had in years.

Second day in Cahaya. Allan is waiting for Kaden to finish his noodles so they can go out for a boat ride.

They’re ready to go, but first, Kaden wants to capture their bliss in yet another selfie.
Allan: You know you can’t upload those to Bubbly, right?
Kaden: I know, “Mr. Famous”. But don’t worry, these are going into my private archive.
Allan: Thank you.

Already on the boat, which Allan insisted on steering.
Kaden: Uh, are you sure you can handle it?
Allan: Sure, it’s no big deal.
Kaden: Okay, if you say so.

Allan: See that island over there? They say it’s deserted.
Kaden: Deserted, huh?
Allan: Yeah, that means there’s nothing and no one there. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? (*Winks*)

A FEW HOURS LATER…
Kaden: You were right, there’s nothing here, including food and shelter.
Allan: But there’s water, and we have snacks in the boat. As for shelter, we could make one with some branches and palm leaves.
Kaden: Forget it, I don’t think it’s safe here, and night is falling, maybe we should go back.
Allan: Um, how about we spend the night here?

Kaden: You mean sleep here? With mosquitoes and stuff?
Allan: I have bug spray in my backpack. It’d be fun, right?
Kaden: I don’t know, there could be wild or poisonous animals, or even bandits.
Allan: True, I hadn’t thought of that.

Kaden: See? I think it’s best if we go back to the villa.
Allan: Yean, let’s go back…
Kaden: (After a small pause) Al, are you okay?
Allan: (Sighs) Yeah, I just wish time would stop and our trip would last forever.
Kaden: Relax, we can always come back when your situation is sorted out.
Allan: Sure, if it ever is sorted out…
