The Kingstons are Back!

The Cho Brothers may be on hold, but the fun with The Sims 3 continues cause we’re going back to Bridgeport with the unspeakable Kingston family and its founder, Roderick Kingston.

Last we heard, Roderick and his son Randy had a falling out after Randy resurrected his mother, (and Roderick’s first wife) Tiara Angelista, using an Ambrosia recipe that brought her back from the dead.

That obviously did not please Suzy, Roderick’s new wife.

Now, the recently resurrected Tiara is on the loose in Bridgeport, ready to reclaim her life and, of course, her beloved husband Roderick. But not before having a little fun with her longtime friends, such as William Fangman, for starters.

Roderick is extremely concerned about his current situation, since he now has two wives!

Suzy hasn’t paid enough attention to this issue, though, cause she’s got bigger fish to fry at the moment.

The Tiara thing took her by surprise, yes, but there’s another “surprise” in her life. Some news she really wasn’t expecting and now has to break to Roderick.

With the problems he has now, who knows how it will turn out for him.

While she was thinking about how to tell him, Suzy distracted herself by going shopping for new clothes and to the beauty salon. A new look always lifts your spirits, although in her case it didn’t help much, cause she’s still feeling anxious.

Meanwhile, Roderick is having fun at the bar, doing one of the things he loves most: playing bass.

Or at least he was trying to before his co-father-in-law Jeffrey Cook came to pester him. (Jeffrey is the father of Elspeth, the wife of Randy, Roderick’s eldest son).

It seems that Suzy is not feeling well.

Oops. She definitely doesn’t look good. Did something in her breakfast upset her stomach?

Of course not. Suzy is very careful with her diet.

She knows well this is a totally different kind of sickness.

She can’t beat around the bush any longer. It’s time to call Roderick.

Roderick just found out. Suzy is pregnant? He’s going to be a father, at his age and with all the problems he has right now? He certainly didn’t see this coming, but here he is, returning to the apartment to give Suzy his unconditional support while the neighbors gossip behind his back.

Suzy: Rod, I’m sorry, I don’t know how it happened, I was being careful, I swear, but…
Roderick: Don’t worry, honey, everything will be fine.
Suzy: Really?
Roderick: Yes, don’t worry, we’ll figure out what to do.

Suzy: Thank you, darling, you’re the best.
Roderick: Well, that’s up for debate.
Suzy: It’s just the truth.

It’s a rainy night in Bridgeport.

Roderick had a restless sleep. It is unclear whether he was dreaming of becoming a photographer or of the nightmare his life will become when the press finds out about Suzy’s pregnancy.

A new day begins for the Kingstons.

Suzy’s concerns are very different from Roderick’s. For example, today her new dress no longer fits her properly. Her body is changing at lightning speed! Will Roderick still love her with these few extra pounds?

Yes, Roderick will continue to love her regardless of what clothes she wears or how she looks. He has just confirmed it to her.

Well, the Kingstons’ lives have taken a 180-degree turn. They both thought it was retirement time, but now they are expecting a baby! We’ll see how that works out for them.
