As is now tradition, and as happened with my Sims 3 and 4 games, at the start of the year it’s time for me to get out all the stuff from my last year’s Inzoi Photo folder. I’ll start with Rowan and his girlfriend Bomi on what was their first date. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos; at that time, I was just beginning to understand how to adjust my game graphics. Today, I’ve managed to achieve slightly better quality, or at least the best my laptop, which is not high-end, allows me to achieve. Anyway, here we go.

Rowan is already at the Dowon shopping mall, waiting for Bomi for their first date.

Nerves gave him an appetite.

Here comes Bomi. For those who don’t play Inzoi, the white beam in front of Rowan is not a portal to the future, nor is it a teleporter that will take him back to Oasis Landing, but rather the signal used in this game when two zois are going to meet at an agreed location.

Anyway, Bomi is here now. She was quite on time, and Rowan wants this to be a perfect date, so they both need to get to know each other first. He wants to know everything about her, but he also wants her to know everything about him.

Of course, the first thing to do is tell her how long he waited for this date and how much he likes her.

It seems the feeling is mutual. Things are looking good so far!

Too good, I’d say.

Rowan and Bomi don’t mind showing their affection in public. But first things first, they want to get to know each other better, so they have a lot to talk about.

It seems that Bomi knows a good spot where they can sit and talk in peace.

Rowan is new to this city, so he lets her guide him.
Bomi: So? What is it that so important you had to tell me about yourself?

Bomi: Is it some secret, like you’re a spy or an undercover cop?
Rowan: (Nervous chuckle) A cop? Of course not!

Bomi’s face when Rowan tried to explain that he was the son of a Time Traveler who is also half alien.
Bomi: Oh… Okay?
Rowan: I know it sounds far-fetched, but it’s true. My father came from the future.
Bomi: And he’s half alien.
Rowan: Yes. So is my grandfather.

Bomi: You’re not saying these things to impress me, are you?
Rowan: No! I know it’s hard to believe, but… it’s real. I can prove it to you anytime.
Bomi: That’s okay, you don’t have to.

“You don’t have to”? What does that mean, that Bomi believed him or that she prefers not to talk about this anymore?

Anyway, it would be best to leave it at that for now, until they know each other better. Rowan just wanted her to know everything at once so they could move on.

There are a few other things he hasn’t told her about himself, like his powers and stuff, but it’s better to leave all that for later.

Now, on to the important part, which is his feelings for her.
Rowan: The thing is… I really like you, Bomi, so I’d like to know if…
Bomi: Yes, Row, I really like you too.
Rowan: Really?
Bomi: Really.

Rowan: No matter what planet or time my family comes from?
Bomi: No matter any of that.
Rowan: Okay, so, will you be my girlfriend?
Bomi: Yes!

The light behind Rowan reminds him of his second home, the Moon, and it is reflected in Bomi’s gaze. The moonlight in her eyes is like the sign that they are meant to be together.

So, without further ado…

One kiss was enough to convince them that they are indeed made for each other. All they want is to be together; the rest will come later.

Rowan: Tell me, Bomi. Would you move in with me?
Bomi: (Laughing) What? On the first date? No way!
Rowan: Too fast, huh?
Bomi: Yes.

Rowan: Well, how about the second one? Or the third? Third time’s the charm, isn’t it?
Bomi: Maybe.
Rowan: I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait.

Rowan: I want to always have you close to me.
Bomi: So do I.
Rowan: You mean it?
Bomi: Absolutely.

Rowan can’t believe it; this feels like a dream. Though he’s still not sure if Bomi understood that what he told her about his family wasn’t a joke or something he made up to impress her. Hopefully she won’t freak out when she finds out that it’s all true—the future, the aliens, the Moon…

Rowan: When will I see you again?
Bomi: Ugh, I don’t know. I work all week but call me and we’ll set a day.
Rowan: I hope it’s soon.
Bomi: Me too.

Night fell over Dowon.

Rowan is already home, chatting with his mother, Juliette. He’s telling her about Bomi, how happy he is to have met her, and how eager he is to introduce her to her, his dad, and the whole Shen family, if he ever returns to Aurora Skies, that is, because now he has every reason in the world to stay in Dowon.
