Well, I found these photos of the Langeraks during Tony and Jeannine’s anniversary party, and looking through them, I realized that, though it seemed like just another one of those chaotic Sims 3 parties, there was actually a lot going on there, so I decided to share it. 🤭

As we mentioned before, Tony and Jeannine Langerak recently celebrated their anniversary, so they decided to throw a party and invite their children, their friends, and some of their neighbors.

Among the family members attending were, of course, Simon, Daniel, Jessica, and Bradley, Tony’s children from his first marriage, the first three with their respective partners: Holly, Gloria, and Royce. In the foreground we can see Jessica, in the background are Simon (with glasses and a blue shirt), Daniel’s wife Gloria, and Tony and Jeannine’s eldest (teen) son, Jean.

Jean is chatting with his friend Gordon Greemswood while being eyed by Zoe Allston, the nanny to his infant siblings Henri and Marlene, who are not at this party cause they are just toddlers. Meanwhile, his young adult uncles and aunts Gloria, Royce and (further in the background), Holly, seem to have lost their respective partners among the crowd.

Bradley, Tony’s youngest son with his ex-wife Cassandra, is of course also enjoying the party before leaving for Cahaya (Inzoi town) to enjoy a sabbatical before starting college. As that day approaches, here we see him trying to get along with Peggy Patel, another of his half-siblings’ nannies. In the background, two more of his friends, Meredith Henderson and Phillip Alto.

It’s not just teenagers who are having fun at this party, but also young adults, like Gloria, who God knows what kind of story she’s telling her brothers-in-law Simon and Royce, but she seems to be making Daniel quite embarrassed.

Tony, for his part, didn’t escape the task of signing autographs. In this particular case to Brad and Jean’s friend, Meredith. The price of being a world-famous explorer and writer. 😉

But it isn’t all smooth sailing for Tony. During his own party he had to deal with Jean and Jeannine, who were angry with each other because she didn’t give him permission to travel to Cahaya with Bradley before going to Uni, as they had both planned.

Jeannine is upset cause she believes Tony and Brad enthused Jean about the trip without consulting her first. Which is true, since Tony doesn’t discriminate between his two sons. If he agreed to pay for Brad’s trip to Cahaya as a reward for graduating from high school, why not do the same with Jean?

He tried to explain to her that he had nothing to do in Bradley and Jean’s plans; they were the ones who organized the trip, he just provided the money and booked the accommodation.

Tony has learned not to contradict Jeannine when it comes to Jean’s matters, so he gave up trying to convince her to let him travel with Brad, but he mentioned his own plan to travel to Cahaya with her and their children and live there for a while.

Jeannine of course didn’t like the idea cause her dream is to live in Champs Les Sims. Now she’s angry with Tony for not even considering her request.
Jeannine: I knew it. I knew you’d say no. You never listen to what I want.
Here it comes, their first marital fight; guess honeymoon is officially over.

They were supposed to be celebrating their anniversary, but what kind of celebration is this if Jeannine won’t talk to him now? Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to bring up Cahaya while they were discussing Champs Les Sims.
“Me and my big mouth,” he says to himself as he gulps down his coffee.

Perhaps it would be best to drop the topic for now and try again tomorrow. Maybe without the pressure of entertaining guests, Tony will be able to convince Jeannine that Cahaya is a thousand times better and more fun than Champs Les Sims? Well, she obviously doesn’t think so.

For the first time, Jeannine is really upset with Tony. She has always followed him on all his adventures, but Cahaya? That’s practically another world! It took her a long time to adapt to Island Paradise, and one of the things that helped her do so was the hope of returning to her beloved Champs Les Sims one day. Now it looks like she will have to give up her long-cherished dream.

Downstairs, the party continues. It seems that Daniel managed to change Gloria’s conversation to prevent the boys from freaking out. Meanwhile, Bradley tries his luck asking Liliana Ichtaca to dance, as André attempts to strike up a conversation with the nannies, Meredith and Peggy.

Since Royce is more interested in Daniel and Gloria’s chatter than in keeping her company, Jessica entertains herself swimming in the pool.

André’s conversation with Meredith and Peggy didn’t last long cause Jean made his appearance.

Maybe he’s going to ask them to dance? Whatever the case, André’s moment to shine has been ruined.

And it was for nothing, cause Peggy quickly fled the scene, and Jean is yawning through Meredith’s conversation. Guess the girls were better off with André. 🙄

Bradley, on the other hand, is having a great time dancing with Liliana, though Zoe and Peggy didn’t like that one bit. Neither did Phillip Alto, since, according to rumors, he also has a crush on Brad. Looks like Bradley is well on his way to following in his father’s footsteps as a total charmer.

Jean seems more interested in taking photographs than in talking to the girls. Zoe and Meredith are not eager to talk to him either, as they only have eyes for Brad, but he seems busy with Miss Ichtaca for now.

It’s late kind of late and Daniel has to leave for one of his gigs. The downsides of being an ascending star singer.

Jessica wonders if she should leave too, as swimming in the pool with her stepmother isn’t all that entertaining.

Jean is trying to impress Gordon with stories about his childhood in Champs Les Sims, while Meredith is bored stiff without Brad in sight. Simon and Royce seem equally as bored without Daniel’s gossip, but André seems to be the most bored of them all.

Simon just realized he hasn’t seen Holly in a while, so he decides to go look for her. Meanwhile, check out Phillip’s face as he watches Brad and Liliana dance. As if that wasn’t enough, he has to listen to the stories Jean keeps telling Gordon.

Well, Simon didn’t find Holly, but André did find him to talk, or rather, to complain about how annoying and dull this party is. Thankfully, Simon is good with children, especially if the child is his own half-brother.

And… Holly has finally showed up. Apparently, she went to put on her swimsuit to go for a swim in the pool.

Another one who doesn’t seem amused is Tony. This is practically his first fight with Jeannine since they got married. Given his commitment issues trait, he wonders if he did the right thing in getting married again. Also, it seems that Phillip preferred to do his homework in order to overcome his boredom.

About two hours later, Daniel is back and ready to go in the pool. So is Bradley, who, after his long dance session with Liliana, has changed into his swimsuit and is ready for some fun. Too bad Meredith and Peggy have left. Phillip is still here, though, but Brad isn’t the least bit interested in him.

Since Jeannine and Tony are not speaking to each other, she engages in a conversation with Daniel instead. Gloria goes on maximum alert.

It’s nothing personal, but she knows the story of how Jeannine stole Tony from Cassandra. In her opinion, once a husband stealer, always a husband stealer, so it’s best to keep an eye on her.

It’s been a while, and Jeannine is still monopolizing Daniel. What is she thinking? Does she plan to talk to him for the rest of the evening?

They have talked so animatedly for so long that even Tony got up from his chair and left. Gloria is seriously starting to worry now.

Simon and Holly, on the other hand, have just met again. They get along so well, and they’ve never had a fight, how enviable!

Night has fallen and the party goes on. Phillip may not have been able to get Bradley’s attention, but he’s certainly got Tony’s, who he’s keeping entertained with stories about his family, the ineffable Altos.

Brad doesn’t seem to find these stories entertaining at all. He’s even a little jealous of Phillip stealing his dad’s attention at his own party!

Jean is not jealous, but worried; he is afraid that his parents might have fought because of him.

While they both take a break to enjoy dinner at last, Bradley tells him all the wonderful things he’s heard about Cahaya Island. Jean listens, mesmerized, and saddened at the same time that he won’t be able to join his brother.

Bradley: What do you mean she said no? Didn’t Dad talk to her?
Jean: Dad has this policy of never contradicting Mom on anything concerning me.

Bradley: That’s a wise policy, I guess. Anyway, don’t worry, you’ll become and adult soon, then you’ll make your own decisions.
Jean: Yeah, one more year and no one will be able to stop me, not even my mom.
Bradley: I’ll see you in Cahaya then.
Jean: You bet.

Well, the party’s over, it’s time to dismiss the babysitter and put the kids to bed.

If they want to sleep, that is, cause Marlene at least slept through the whole party. Now she’s fresh as a daisy and ready to play all night long. The joys of being an exhausted middle-aged father of two toddlers.

Jean isn’t middle aged, but he’s exhausted too. He still has to finish his homework, and his phone won’t stop ringing.

“Okay, let’s see who’s so eager to talk to me. Maybe it’s Peggy or Meredith, maybe one of them changed their mind and wants to chat with me for the whole night.”

Nope. It’s Phillip Alto, calling Jean’s phone because Brad isn’t answering his.
“Forget it, buddy, Brad’s already sleeping like a log. Call him tomorrow, okay? Bye.
And so ends this historic gathering of the Langeraks. Yes, I know, they’re a rather peculiar family, but a happy one at that. This is all about them for now. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
And so it ends this historic gathering of the Langeraks. Yes, I know, they’re a rather peculiar family, but a happy one at that. This is the latest I have on them in Island Paradise, We’ll probably see them all in Cahaya someday, although that may take some time. Thank you for reading this far. Stay tuned for a little more of Bradley at Inzoi’s Cahaya. 💖
