Tony used to have problems with alcohol, but not anymore. Guess at that time he was depressed because he had a hard time making a decision after a stormy divorce, several months in denial, and crying over Cassandra. But he finally sobered up, ditched the bottle, and formalized his relationship with Jeannine. We can say it was her who saved him from his alcoholism. Now Tony lives a peaceful life, without any excesses, and best of all, despite of his Commitment Issues trait, he’s the most faithful of husbands and a model father.
