So Bradley asked her best friend Gyu-ri on a date. Their night out was great; they had dinner and talked until the restaurant closed, then went for a walk on the beach. They took selfies together and had a wonderful time overall.

They both confessed they had feelings for each other, and the best friends outing quickly turned into a romantic date.

After a long conversation, Bradley asked Gyu-ri to move in with him, but she declined.

So, in a rather impulsive gesture, perhaps born of loneliness, Brad proposed to her.

Gyu-ri knew that Bradley’s heart was somewhere else, but she said yes because she had always been in love with him.

For her, being able to share her life with Bradley was like a dream come true.

For Bradley, it was more than love; it was a lifeline. And this didn’t make him feel entirely at ease, but by the ooks of it, Quinn had no intention of ever coming back, so there was no harm in trying to start something new with Gyu-ri. He was sure that, with time, he would learn to love her as she rightfully deserved.

Later, since they were already engaged, Bradley asked Gyu-ri again to live with him, and this time she accepted.

Deep down, he knew their engagement had been a rash decision, but he also knew that he no longer wanted to be alone.

Everything went wonderfully for a while, Bradley and Gyu-ri shared beautiful moments together.

However, due to their jobs and other activities, discussions about the wedding and its planning were repeatedly postponed.

And as the days went by, Brad became more and more unsure whether marrying Gyu-ri was really what he wanted.

The truth was that he he still thought about Quinn, and all of a sudden, he started being a bit too quiet and distant.

Gyu-ri quickly realized that he hadn’t forgotten Quinn, and that when he asked to be alone with his art, it was because he was thinking about her.

She thought of setting him free, but it was too late to for that, cause she was already hopelessly in love with him. So she just prayed that he would forget Quinn soon and the two of them could get married and live happily ever after. Sadly, fate had quite different plans.
