The show is over, almost everyone has left. The time has come for Tyron to tell Kayla about Katie’s visit.

After a warm hug, a kiss, and congratulations from her on his performance, Tyron clears his throat:
Tyron: Um, Kayla, we need to talk.
Kayla: Talk? About what?
Tyron: It’s a bit of a delicate subject, so why don’t we go for a drink?
Kayla: Mm, would you mind if we had that drink at home? It was a long trip, and I’m dying for a bubble bath.

Tyron: Sorry, but we need to talk before we get home.
Kayla: Why the urgency, is something wrong over there?
Tyron: It depends on how you see it.
Kayla: Ty, please be clear, you’re scaring me.
Tyron: Okay, well, Katie came to Starlight Shores, she showed up unannounced and…

Kayla: Wait, Katie O’Dourke is in Starlight Shores?
Tyron: Yes. I thought it would be a short visit, but she said she’d just arrived and had not yet found a place to stay.
Kayla: Oh, my God, Ty. Please tell me you didn’t let her stay at your place.
Tyron: That’s what I wanted to talk to you about.

Tyron: She’s new to the city, she doesn’t know anybody here. I didn’t have the heart to kick her out onto the streets.
Kayla: Of course you didn’t; you were crazy about her, didn’t you?
Tyron: Kayla, that’s on the past and you know it.
Kayla: Is it? I mean, she’s not a teen anymore, plus, she’s truly obsessed with you.
Tyron: She’s just confused. Once she starts college, she’ll meet someone her own age and she’ll get over me.

Kayla: Well, it doesn’t seem like that’s gonna happen anytime soon, or is it?
Tyron: Kay, come on…
Kayla: Anyway, when did she arrive?
Tyron: Around ten in the morning.
Kayla: It’s midnight, so you spent many hours with her.
Tyron: Actually, not that many. I… I was hardly home.

Kayla: But you were there at some point, weren’t you? So tell me up front, did something happen between you and her?
Tyron: Nothing happened, I swear. Or don’t you trust me?
Kayla: I trust you, but I don’t trust her. So I want the truth, something happened or not?
Tyron: No! Well, she tried to kiss me, but I stopped her in her tracks.
Kayla: Okay… So, I suppose after that you asked her to leave.
Tyron: Er, no?

Kayla: What? You mean she’s still there??
Tyron: She had nowhere to go. I had the gig; I didn’t have time to find her a place!
Kayla: Oh, I’m sure he had somewhere to go, just she lied to you in order to stay with you. Can’t you see it, Ty?
Tyron: I do, but it’ll be just one night. I’ll make sure she leaves first thing tomorrow morning.
Kayla: Tomorrow? Oh, no, no, no. She needs to go right now. Get her a cab, I’ll pay for it.
Tyron: I- I can’t do that; she must be asleep by now!

Kayla: Okay, then I’m the one who’s leaving. I’ll stay at my brother’s tonight. I’ll return when that troublemaker is out.
Tyron: Kayla, come on…
Kayla: Sorry, Ty, but it’s final. I’m calling Richard now, please don’t follow me. I’m tired, I don’t wanna argue, and you certainly don’t wanna make a scene here, so I’ll see you tomorrow.

That was it. Kayla called her brother, he came to pick her up, and they left quickly. For a brief second, Tyron thinks about following them, but he knows it’s useless to insist. Kayla is right, it’s not a good idea to make a scene at the Rodeo Go-Go, not after such a wonderful night. She’s also right that Katie should leave immediately. So yeah, it’s time deal with this matter once and for all.

It’s late, Katie must indeed be asleep by now, but first thing in the morning he’ll give her an ultimatum: either she leaves immediately, or he’ll call her parents himself and ask them to come and get her.
