After his (second) failed attempt to befriend Quinn Hardy, Bradley headed to the beach to clear his head and, being the natural explorer that he is, used his pickaxe to dig around and found his first treasure.

At first glance, it looked like a pearl, or something else round and shiny, but it turned out to be just a conch shell called Blue Shell.

Browsing the swimwear stand. There’s nothing he likes. He could rent snorkeling gear too, but it wouldn’t be any use, he needs to improve his snorkeling skill first.

As evening fell, Bradly decided to go fishing.

There is no one else at the dock except Yuni Amalia, a fairly experienced local fisherwoman.

He and Yuni spent hours fishing. She caught lots of great fish and is now taking a break. Brad hasn’t caught anything except a tiny Seahorse and a Striped Butterfly fish. But he’s still trying…

And failing at times.

It’s starting to get dark. Bradley is tired and pretty upset.

Yuni has given him some tips, but Brad doesn’t feel as confident as he used to.

Anyway, he’s very stubborn, so keeps trying long after Yuni has left.

With no more fish in his bag and feeling quite frustrated, he finally decides to go home, but first he stops for a shrimp skewer because he’s starving by now.

Back home safe and sound, but exhausted.

The first thing he did was put his new Seahorse in a small fish tank. The Butterfly fish didn’t even fit in a medium-sized fish tank, so it stayed in his bag (inventory).

The Seahorse and a Striped Butterfly Fish are the first two catches in Bradley’s collection. It wasn’t such a wasted day after all! Plus, he’s already at Level 3 of the Fishing skill. 😊
