Most of the week I’m up to my neck in work, but yesterday I managed to download the new (free) DLC for InZOI, “Island Getaway,” and in the evening, after finishing work, I was able to enjoy an hour and a half of continuous, immersive gameplay. Cahaya is simply fascinating; there’s so much to do that I can’t keep up.
You can plant crops, sell your produce, rent boats, swim in the sea or your swimming pool, travel between cities, find treasures, craft gems and many, many new things that I never thought could come in just one package.

The zoi I used to first use this DLC was my OC Bradley. At first, I thought about sending him on vacation to Cahaya and nothing else, but since he is a remake of Bradley Langerak, from Island Paradise in my Sims 3 game, my intention when I created him in inZOI was to move him to Cahaya. At that time Cahaya wasn’t available yet, so I temporarily housed him in Bliss Bay.

Yesterday, the time finally came to move Bradley to his rightful homeland. So I gave him new hair and clothes more appropriate for the new environment, and he was ready to go live as the islander he is and has been since birth. Mind you, he had to leave his roomies, girlfriend Eloise and best friend Lana, in Bliss Bay cause I’d rather play with just one Zoi for now, while I get familiar with everything there is to do on the island, which is a lot!
Anyway, here are my very first pics of the Cahaya Islands. They aren’t many because I was more focused on playing than taking photos—that’s how addictive this game has turned out to be for me. 🤭

Bradley, taking a break in his new home after the long flight that brought him to Cahaya.

Eating a delicious mango to recharge his energy after walking for hours around the islands.

Sunset in Cahaya.

At dusk, Bradley is exhausted; so, it’s time to go home.

It’s a long walk to the dock to catch the water taxi.

Another day, Brad is ready for new adventures. Notice the island in the background—I love how it looks almost real.

Bradley’s first boat ride. It’s literally the first time he’s ever driven one. The scenery in the background and the sound of the boat’s engine made me feel nostalgic for Island Paradise. I guess Bradley did too. Let’s hope we can move the rest of his family, the Langeraks, to Cahaya one day.

Another evening in the Island, with a full moon at that.

At the Turtle Sanctuary! This is really awesome; Bradley had such a good time here.

One last treasure hunt before heading home.

The next day, back at the fruit stand, enjoying another mango. Does Bradley love mangoes? Yes! But he’s also become good friends with the girl who sells them. Is romance in the air? With Bradley’s natural charm, inherited from his father Tony, it’s very possible!

And that’s all about Cahaya for now. I hope you enjoyed it. I’ll see if I can play some more tonight to take more pics. There is still plenty to see and do!
