Now, Tyron is arriving at the Port-A-Party Warehouse club. There, the proprietor Percy Vera is preparing drinks for his customers, still quite scarce at that time of the evening.

It’s not hard for Tyron to convince him to listen to him sing. For the audition, he performed the Good Work Sing-a-gram, like he did at Los Sueños Private Club, plush toy and all.

And just like his colleague Danica, Percy was fascinated with the stuffed animal, the special effects, the overall performance and, obviously, with Tyron too.

Percy: Aw, Tyron darling, your performance was superb! You have a beautiful voice, did you know that? Not to mention you’re drop-dead gorgeous!
Tyron: *Blushes* Uh, thank you, Mr. Vera.
Percy: Please call me Percy. Now tell me, would you go out with me, so I can get to know you better?
Tyron: Um, thanks, Percy, but… I’m already in a relationship.

Percy: Oops, really? Oh, I’m sorry.
Tyron: That’s okay…
Percy: May I ask who you’re in a relationship with?
Tyron: Kayla Remington. She’s…
Percy: Robert “Ray” Remington’s daughter, right? Oh, my God!

Percy: I love Robert Ray, he’s very handsome, manly, and sexy. Though not as handsome as you, of course.
Tyron: *Becomes speechless*
Percy: Now tell me, would you sing at my club on Friday at 8 pm?
Tyron: Sure, that’s why I came to audition.

Percy: Wonderful! I’ll make sure everyone in Starlight Shores attends. It’ll be unforgettable!
(Well… that was easy, wasn’t it?)
Tyron: Great, thank you, Mr. V… I mean Percy.
Percy: You’re welcome, hon. Now, can I take a picture of you? It’s for my Simstagram. I want all my friends to know I’ll have Davy Cho’s grandson and Robert Ray’s son-in-law singing at my venue!

Tyron said yes to the photo, hoping that would be the only condition for letting him perform at the Port-A-Party. Deep down, he is secretly grateful for the advantage of being the son-in-law of Robert Ray, or Roberto Rayo, as Kayla’s father is known in Monte Vista.

Now it’s time to clear out of here…
Tyron: Well, thanks a lot for the opportunity, Percy. I’ll see you on Friday.
Percy: Wait! I wanted to ask you one last favor…
Tyron: *Shudders* Yeah, what is it?
Percy: Would you sing one of the songs from your new album for me and my customers? You know, as a little publicity stunt for your upcoming show?

Does Tyron have a choice? The guy just gave him a chance to sing at his luxurious venue just like that, so the answer obviously had to be yes.

Tyron performs an acoustic version of his hit song Heartbroken, which he wrote for his ex-wife Candice after the divorce.

Percy seems more than pleased, unlike Celeste Bentley, Landon Casanova’s wife, the only other customer at that hour, who seems more interested in the book she’s reading than in Tyron’s broken heart.

That’s four shows down. Friday is still free, so it’s time to look for another gig. To do that, he needs to head to Performance Park.

Arriving at Performance Park, Tyron prays that its owner isn’t as flirtatious as Percy. It’s late, he’s tired, hungry, and he misses Kayla badly.

And there’s the proprietor, Shanna Caps. Ty’s heard she’s a serious, pretty level-headed woman. And it’s her birthday today, so there’s no question what the right Sing-a-gram will be. If she lets him audition, that is.

So far, no owner has refused Tyron an audition (or anything else, really), so Shanna accepts the Sing-a-gram and, of course, the gift that comes with it.
Shanna: Aw, Tyron, you didn’t have to but thank you!
Tyron: You’re welcome, I hope you like it.

Tyron: Now tell me, did I get the gig?
Shanna: Sure… If you don’t mind singing Saturday at 6:30. It’s an early time, but it’s the only opening I have.
Tyron: Oh, no problem, I’ll take it.
Shanna: Thank you, Tyron, we’d love to have you at Performance Park. Now, I don’t usually do this since I’m married, but…
Tyron: Uh-oh. Here it comes…
Shanna: Would you mind if I took your picture?

Tyron breathes with relief. He’s gotten all kinds of requests and conditions in exchange for a gig, some of them so bizarre that a photo isn’t that big of a deal, so he agrees.
Shanna: I take photos of all the artists in my park to post them on the walls of my agency, so other proprietors can see them.
Tyron: Sounds like good publicity. Thanks, Shanna.

And this is how Tyron’s schedule looks now. A busy week awaits him, no doubt. Hopefully it will also be a very successful one.

It will be an exhausting task, but well worth it for the pay and promotion he will receive. By the way, as a singer, Ty knows he shouldn’t smoke, but it’s been a pretty hectic and stressful day, so smoking is probably in order.
Tyron: If all my concerts go well, I’ll quit smoking, I promise.
(Yeah, we’ll see. The three Cho brothers have a serious problem with smoking, no doubt).

More people have started to arrive at Performance Park. Time to get out of here!

Wait, isn’t that The Amazing Jason walking down the sidewalk? Yes, that’s him! Well, Tyron hopes to one day be as famous and rich as him.

Jason Langerak and Ty have a few things in common, such as both being from Hidden Springs, and both being divorced. Except that Jason remarried his ex-wife and they are now very happy together. Could the same thing happen to Tyron and Candice? 🤔
