Starlight Shores 6:30 pm…

Tyron is on his way home. As it’s already a little late, he has decided not to audition anymore until the next day.

He’s worried that Brandi has been left home alone with Marques, the new babysitter, and with Kayla, who has no obligation to look after her.

When he arrived, he found Brandi outside, sitting on the floor. It was obvious that she needed urgent attention, but Marques was nowhere to be seen.
Brandi: Daddy!
Tyron: Hi, Brand… Ugh, what’s that smell? And how did you get out here in the first place? Where’s Marques?

Brandi of course didn’t know where Marques was, or how to answer all of her dad’s questions.

Tyron: All right, we’ll look for Marques right away but first let’s get you changed.

After changing Brandi’s diaper, Tyron looked around the house for Marques but couldn’t find him. Apparently, he decided to retire early – and without warning! Well, he’ll file his complaint with the agency. Meanwhile, it’s time to put Brandi to bed, which she certainly doesn’t agree with.

Brandi’s protests ended up waking Kayla, who was taking a nap on the extra bed in the nursery.
Kayla: Ty? Oh, my God, what time did you get home?

Tyron: A few minutes ago, only to find that Marques left without any notice.
Kayla: Oh, gosh, I’m sorry, if I’d known I wouldn’t have…
Tyron: It’s okay, it’s not your fault, nor is it your responsibility to look after Brandi.

Kayla: I know, but I’ll try to be more vigilant next time.
Tyron: Nah, it was my mistake. I shouldn’t have trusted Marques. This babysitter thing is a lottery, isn’t it?
Kayla: Yeah, it’s a bit scary.
Tyron: Yeah, next time I’ll make sure they send me a more reliable person. Or I’ll hire Felicia permanently.

Kayla: That’s a good idea… Are you hungry? I’ll go make us something for dinner.
Tyron: Kayla, you don’t have to.
Kayla: Oh, but I want to.
Kayla doesn’t take no for an answer and goes down to the kitchen to make something for her and Tyron. He is left busy thinking how lucky he is to have someone as caring as her by his side.
