Now we’re fast traveling to Starlight Shores…

Starlight Shores, early morning.

Tyron and Brandi have just arrived in Starlight Shores, thanks to his brother Terence’s influence, Tyron was able to get a very nice house very quickly.

Tyron: All right, Brand, ready to see your new home?
Brandi: Yes!

Once inside, Brandi seems quite happy with their new place.

Until she found out that her mommy won’t be living with them. Then she threw quite a tantrum.

Yeah, this is a taste of what’s probably in store for Tyron as a single dad.

Luckily, Brandi calmed down after breakfast when Tyron told her they were going for a walk in the park. Phew!

Arriving at the park, there’s the owner. Maybe it’s a good opportunity for Ty to audition.

Tyron: Hi, I’m Tyron Cho, I’m a singer from Hidden Springs.
Erin: Hi, Tyron, I’m Erin Stratz. I’ve heard a lot about you.
Tyron: Really? Well, I’d like to audition.
Erin: Uh, now? I mean, I see you’re taking care of your…er….
Tyron: My daughter, yes. She won’t be a problem, she’s, like, used to this.

The Performance Park proprietor agrees to listen to Tyron. He puts on his best performance. He’s barely started, and Erin is already impressed.

To close his act on a high note, and since it is a romantic ballad he interpreted, Tyron offers her a bouquet of roses.

Before giving her review, Erin takes a moment to appreciate the flowers. Both Tyron and Brandi impatiently await her response.

Erin: Tyron, that was amazing. I want to hire you to sing in the park, but ahem, first you’ll have to change your look.

Erin: Your hair. See, that hairstyle would work if you were a rocker, but you’re a pop singer, so I need you to find something more, um, light. Okay?

Erin’s request took Tyron by surprise, he never thought he’d have to get rid of his precious locks just like that. But if he really wants to get the gig he’ll have to make some sacrifices. So, after the park, he got Brandi a babysitter and went straight to the hair salon. The first person he ran into was a fellow musician, Debbie Richards.

Debbie is a member of The Rebels band, led by Landon Casanova, who is Tyron’s cousin, cause he’s the son of Ty’s aunt, Michelle Cho, also a famous Starlight Shores singer, as well as her sister, Aunt Miranda.

Yes, apparently there are already too many Chos singing in Starlight Shores, but what else can Tyron do? He comes from a dynasty of singers. All that’s left for him is to buckle up and do what it takes to succeed in here. Okay, saying goodbye to his old self now…

And… this was the result. The haircut was the stylist’s suggestion; Not exactly what Tyron would go for, but it kind of works?

The outfit isn’t too bad either if you ask him.

In the end, Tyron approves too.
Tyron: Yes! Now to conquer the Starlight Shores audience!

Of course, it remains to be seen if Erin and the other owners will approve of this new look. Hopefully they will because Ty can’t spend more money right now, it’s enough with the rent of the house and the babysitter’s salary. Anyway, now it’s time to do some networking.

He had the opportunity to meet Richard Randall, husband of Melissa Langerak, Ty’s cousin and daughter of Aunt Miranda and famed agent Mike Langerak.

Fortunately, Uncle Mike was around too. Tyron couldn’t resist to ask him for an autograph.
Mike: Please don’t forget to give my regards to your parents.
Tyron: I will, sir, thank you.
Mike: Don’t call me sir, Uncle Mike or just Mike is fine.

As expected, Mike offered him help and advice for his budding career in Starlight Shores.

Mike is a famous artist manager, producer, alchemist, millionaire… He’s Miranda Cho’s husband too, and now he’s offered his unconditional help. Awesome!

Tyron couldn’t have waited for better luck, now his career in Starlight Shores will certainly take off.

He can’t wait to go and tell…. who? Candice is no longer with him; his siblings are far away as well as his parents. Brandi is still too young to talk about these things.

Tyron: Maybe I should call Kayla and let her know, she’s sure to be happy when she hears about it. Ah, if only I could hurry her move to Starlight Shores, but she’s still busy with her work. All that’s left to do is wait for her.

Anyway, things are looking pretty good for Tyron. Let’s hope they stay that way.
