Allan just got back from the gym, he didn’t really work out much but getting out and interacting with the outside world was really refreshing.

Meanwhile, at home, everyone went about their daily routines. Zoe took care of some business on her phone and watched the finance channel for tips.

Kennedy was considering doing a little exercise, but perhaps she’s had enough with his cheerleading session today.

Anika went swimming for a while to combat the stress from school.

Lukas tried to watch TV, but couldn’t pay attention. He seems worried, only he knows why, although we can imagine the reason.

And Zeke entertained himself by playing a little chess before going to bed, although he had to play alone, cause no one at home was in the mood for joining him.

Especially Zoe, who was already starting to worry that Allan hadn’t arrived. Did he really go to the gym, or did he go somewhere else? Hopefully he hadn’t gone to a bar.

Luckily for Zoe, just then the front door opens, and Allan comes in.
Allan: Hello! Anybody home?

No one was around, so Allan had to search. He found Zoe in the basement a.k.a. the boys’ room.
Allan: Zoe? What are you doing down here?
Zoe: I’m sorry, I tried sleep, but I couldn’t. I was worried about you.

Allan: Worried? Why? I told you I was going to the gym, you know I always lose track of time when I go there.
Zoe: I know, but, well I… I thought…
Allan: You thought I went to the bar, didn’t you?

Zoe: Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought, I’m sorry.
Al: Don’t be, it’s okay, honey.
Zoe: No, it’s not okay, Al, I’m supposed to trust you, it’s a part of the process.
Allan: Well, everything is fine, believe me.

Allan: I am rehabbed now, and I’ll keep my resolution to never fall off the wagon again, I swear.
Zoe: And I believe you, Al, but… there are those rumors too.
Allan: Rumors? Ohh, about Fabian and me. You know we are just friends; the rest are all tabloid inventions.

Allan: It is you and you alone that I love, and with whom I want to live. There is and will be no one else, ever.
Zoe: Are you sure, Ally?
Allan: One hundred percent, babe.

Allan: You have nothing to be afraid of, we’re together for good, and nothing, nor alcohol, nor someone else will ever tear us apart.
Zoe: Oh, Al, I love you so much.
Allan: I love you too, baby.

The two seal their words with a passionate kiss. In the heat of the moment, Allan gets carried away.
Zoe: (Between kisses) Al, wait…
Allan: What?

Zoe: We’re in the boys’ room, remember? We can’t, you know, continue this here, they might come in and…
Allan: Hell, you’re right.

Allan: Okay, I was just going to take a shower, how about we…?
Zoe: I was hoping you’d suggest that.

Allan and Zoe waste no time and…

Things get really steamy in the shower.
MINUTES LATER…

Zoe’s coming out, she looks extremely satisfied.

And Allan looks exhausted.
Allan: Wow, that was…
Zoe: Amazing, Al, you really excelled in there.

Allan: Ahem. Did I? I think I’m still a little out of shape.
Zoe: Not at all, honey, you’re better than ever. Believe me, I’ll remember this for days. And I sure hope we do this more often.

More often? Wow, Allan will definitely have to get to the gym daily from now on.

Anything to see that star-like glow in Zoe’s eyes. He loves her, she loves him, things have never been better between them.

But then, what is worrying Allan?

Impossible to know for now, maybe we’ll find out later. For now, let him and Zoe enjoy their bliss. ❤️
