As they get out of the car at the dorm, Dale and Sarah are still arguing about the foosball match result.
Dale: Admit it, I won. It’s hard to beat the regional foosball champion.
Sarah: Fine, I admit defeat, but I’m warning you I’ll call for a rematch.

Kelly has just woken up from a short nap and hears them from the bathroom window.

Good thing everyone’s back home. Hopefully Dale is ready to talk, but Kelly is really trying not to force things, so she’ll turn her attention to another matter, not as important, but still necessary.

Lauri: Well, I’m here now. What’s up?
Yeah, this isn’t Kelly’s favorite thing to do, but if she wants to restore Dale’s trust, and keep the dorm from turning into a battleground for the remainder of the term, she’s gonna have to do pull this off.

Sarah sticks around in case another confrontation erupts. Kelly addresses the issue in her own straightforward style.
Kelly: I heard Dale apologized to you on my behalf…

Kelly: Which is pretty unfair if you ask me, cause he had nothing to do with it. I’m the one who was rude to you so I apologize.
Lauri: Oh, thank you, that’s very nice of you, Kelly.
Kelly: So we’re good then?
Lauri: As far as I’m concerned, it’s forgotten.

Kelly: Now, I don’t know about you but I’d like us to get through the rest of the term in peace. I realize I’m not the sweetest of people, but I’m willing to do my best.
Lauri: Am I wrong, or you are calling a truce?
Kelly: If you wanna call it that.
Lauri: Ok, count me in on it.
Sarah: (To herself) Yeah, it looks like we’ll have some peace this term after all.

While he fixed lunch, Dale overheard the conversation between the girls and, like Sarah, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Dale: Okay, things are looking up. All that’s left is my talk with Kel, but that’ll have to be when we’re alone. I want it to be private, if that’s even possible in this house.

Dale: Hey, everyone, lunch is ready!

Sarah: It’s about time, I am starving… Oh, sushi, not bad, but – shouldn’t we be at the Meet & Greet right now?

Dale: Nope, no more Meets & Greets for me.
Kelly: Agree, when you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all.
Sarah: Okay, that’s fine by me. It’s not like they are all that much fun anyway.

Dale: Not only are they not fun, they’re downright boring. Hardly anyone attends that stuff anymore.
Sarah: What do you say Lauri?
Lauri: Meh, I can do without.
As they discuss the futility of the Meet & Greets, Kelly’s phone starts ringing so she stands up to answer it.

Kelly: Hello? Uh, no, I’m having lunch now… Sounds cool, but I won’t be attending the Meet & Greet… Yeah, I’m sorry, I’m just busy today. But thanks anyway for the invitation, and good luck with your gig.
Dale: …

Sarah: Who was that? One of your fans?
Kelly: No. It was Eddy Mullis.

Lauri: Eddy Mullis? Oh, my god, he’s such a heartthrob. And he’s a very talented musician too.
Dale: What did he want?

Kelly: (Back to her seat) Well, he wanted to invite us to see him play during the event.
Lauri: Wow, that’s awesome!
Dale: He invited the three of you, not just you?
Sarah: She said he invited “us”, that means all of us, Cho, you included.
Lauri: Yay, he probably remembers us from the cafe.

Dale: Well, if he wanted to invite “all of us”, he should have dialed the dorm phone, not Kelly’s.
Sarah: Relax Cho, the guy’s just looking for an audience for his gig, is all.
Kelly: Sarah is right, he’s probably calling everybody on campus.
Dale: Yeah, sure…

Dale quickly finishes his lunch and gets up from the table to take his plate to the kitchen, Kelly starts to worry.
Kelly: Maybe I shouldn’t have taken that call.
Sarah: Why? it’s not like Mullis asked you out on a date or something.

Kelly: Still, I can tell Dale didn’t like it.
Sarah: Cho needs to chill. It’s not your fault that pesky Mullis called you.
Kelly: To be honest, maybe it is.
Sarah: What do you mean?

Kelly: Eddy called me because I gave him my phone number.
Sarah: So what? Lots of girls have Cho’s phone number, and they call him all the time.
For a split-second Sarah thinks about adding: “like the ex who called him this morning back at the laundromat,” but something tells her she probably shouldn’t open that can of worms.

Kelly: Anyway, I’m probably worrying about nothing.
In Sarah’s opinion, Kelly isn’t “worrying about nothing”. Dale did seem annoyed, but there’s no need to point it out, that would only make Kelly uncomfortable. Lauri, of course, is not of the same opinion.
Lauri: No offense, but you shouldn’t have given Eddy your number in the first place.

Kelly: Eddy asked me for it, I didn’t want to be rude.
Lauri: You could have declined politely. But you just don’t want to lose a single fan, do you?
Kelly: And what’s wrong with that. A celebrity owes it to her fans.
Lauri: Except you’re not a celebrity yet. Plus, you have a boyfriend.
Kelly: Excuse me, whose side are you on now?
Sarah: (To herself) Well, there goes the truce.

Sarah: You know, this discussion is going nowhere, so if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to clean my dish and get on with my day.
Shortly after getting up, Sarah’s phone starts ringing too.

Thinking it might be Terence, her soon-to-be boss, she answers immediately.
Sarah: Hello…? Ah, it’s you. No, I don’t think we have anything else to talk to about… Really? Well, that’s a whole trimester away, so no, it’s not the time. Now, I’m sorry but I’m hanging up.

Kelly: Who was that?
Sarah: None other than Riley Woods, from Lucky Palms.
Lauri: Riley? What did she want?
Sarah: To talk, go figure. Just because I’m going to work there, she thinks I should give us another chance.

Kelly: Riley? Mm, that’s suspicious.
Sarah: Easy, girl, she wanted me, not your boyfriend. That ship has sailed.
Lauri: You and Riley were over a long time ago, weren’t you?
Kelly: That’s why it is suspicious. She’s up to something, no good of course.
Sarah: Well, let’s drop it, okay? Last thing we need right now is more worries.

Kelly and Lauri agree and leave the subject to rest, but Sarah…
Sarah: Seriously, why did Riley actually call? Did she want to talk to me or was she really trying to reach Cho through me? If it’s the latter, she’s not gonna get it, at least not from me.
