After walking around all day looking very mysterious, finally, at night, Lucas gets on his bicycle and heads off to some place for a secret meeting, which he didn’t tell anyone about.

That appointment was with none other than Lucas Munch, who called to ask him out, apparently just to hang out and play ball, but…
Lucas: Hey, Kas, can we talk?
Lukas: Talk? About what?
Lucas: Er, about what you told me a while ago…

Lukas: What I told you? You mean…?
Lucas: How you feel about me; and what I answered you that one time.
Lukas: Have you changed your mind since?
Lucas: Possibly. Do you think we could get together one of these days and chat?
Lukas: Uh, sure, but first…

Lukas: Think fast!
The shot took Lucas by surprise, but he’s very good at playing ball, so he caught it with no problem. After that the two agreed to meet some other day to talk, although they have not yet decided when. Lucas will call Lukas later to tell him what place and date.

Lukas is intrigued, he’d gladly listen to what Lucas has to say right now, but a snowfall is forecast, so they both have to go home right away.

When Lukas arrives home, he’s still trying to guess what it is that Lucas wants to tell him. He doesn’t know how he’s going to avoid dying of curiosity while he decides to call him again.
THE NEXT DAY, AFTER SCHOOL…

Anika: Do you know where Lukas went last night?
Kennedy: I asked him but apparently, it’s a state secret.
Zoe: (In the background) Girls, do you know where Lukas went last night?
Anika: Lukas didn’t tell mom either?
Kennedy: This is serious.

To distract her curiosity, Kennedy resumes her piano lessons, which she has neglected lately. Allan decides to have his meal on the living room sofa in order to cheer her up.

It’s been so boring for him to stay at home that listening to Kennedy practicing has been the highlight of his day… Oh, and throwing his chopsticks in the air too.

Allan: Yes, that was a great catch!

Allan: No, it wasn’t. Dang, I need to get out soon, or I’ll go crazy with boredom here.

Anika: Hi dad, are you going out?
Allan: Out? As if!
Anika: Oh, you can go out, just not at night.
Allan: Yeah, whatever… Keep practicing, Kenny, it’s starting to sound better.
Kennedy: Thanks, dad.

Anika: Dad’s right, it’s starting to sound much better.
Kennedy: That’s not true, I suck.
Anika: Come on, don’t be so hard on yourself. You’ll be the best piano player in the world.
Kennedy: Except I want to be a singer.
Anika: Oh, okay. You can be that too.

Anika: I’m sure Kennedy will be a great singer. She’s the best at karaoke! Me, on the other hand… I wanna be a famous actress, but I can’t even finish high school.

Anika: I’m not half as talented as my dad. Who knows if I’ll ever get as far as he did? Maybe I should become a businesswoman, like Mom? Or marry Alex and just dedicate myself to being the new Mrs. Goth, sitting in my beautiful mansion.

Anika: Gods, no. That would be so boring… Although, truth be told, Mortimer and Bella don’t seem to get bored at all… You know who does get bored? Dad. Staying at home isn’t for him, and I totally get it. We are very much alike. Don’t you think so, Apollo?
Apollo: Meow.

Anika: Enough with the silly thoughts, let’s play instead. How about the laser beam? Do you like it?
Apollo: (Sniffs the laser beam in confusion).

Apollo: Meow.
Anika: What? You don’t like it? But it’s the latest trend in cat toys!

Anika: Okay, let’s play something else. Any suggestions?
Apollo: Meow.

Zeke: Are you going to eat this?
Anika: No, you can eat it if you want.
Zeke: Where is everyone?
Anika: Hm, let’s see… Mom went to work, Dad’s out and about. And Kenny and Lukas went to a gym in San Myshuno…
SKYE FITNESS GYM, SAN MYSHUNO, 5 PM

Kennedy: Well? Are you telling me or not?
Lukas: Tell you what?
Kennedy: Oh, come on Lukas, you know. Your mysterious date from last night.
Lukas: Ah, that’s personal. And it wasn’t a date.

Kennedy decides not to ask any more questions, and to give Lukas his space… at least for a moment.
Kennedy: Personal, huh? We’ll see…

Meanwhile, Lukas chooses the most difficult exercises to try not to think about Lucas Munch. Should he tell Kennedy? Or the rest of the family? Is it worth it when he still doesn’t know where this is going?
Lukas: Damn it, Lucas, why now, when I had almost forgotten you?

Kennedy: (Oblivious to Lukas’s thoughts) I’ll make you a deal: you tell me your secret, and I’ll tell you mine.
Lukas: Do you have a secret?
Kennedy: Yep. One I’ve been keeping since we got back from Sulani.
Lukas: Does it have to do with Orange?
Kennedy: Maybe… Oh, wait, I have to reply to this message.
Lukas: Who is it from?
Kennedy: Like I said, secret.

In order to be able to talk in relative privacy, Kennedy and Lukas go up to the basketball courts on the roof of the gym.

It’s a great view of San Myshuno from there, although a somewhat foggy one.

Lukas: So what is this secret of yours?
Kennedy: I’ll tell you over a basketball match.
Lukas: A basketball match? I thought the condition was that I tell you my secret.
Kennedy: Are you afraid I’ll beat you?

Lukas: You, beat me? Please!
Kennedy: Oh, you’re challenging me?

Kennedy: Well, beat this.
Lukas: (Scoffs) Is that all you’ve got?

Lukas: Beat that!
Kennedy: Ha, that was beginner’s luck.
Lukas: I’m anything but a beginner. I’m an ace on the court.
Kennedy: M-hm.

Kennedy: Okay, enough distraction, start telling me… what happened last night?
Lukas: Lucas called me and asked me to meet him.

Kennedy: Lucas Munch asked you on a date?
Lukas: It wasn’t a date.
Kennedy: So what was it?
Lukas: Just a couple of friends meeting up to play ball.

Kennedy: You’re lying, there was something else, I know it.
Lukas: Nope. We just played ball and then he told me he wanted to talk.
Kennedy: About what?

Lukas: About what I once told him, you know about my feelings for him, and what he had answered me back then. I asked him if he had changed his mind, he said ‘possibly’.
Kennedy: That’s interesting, what else?
Lukas: Nothing. That was it.

Kennedy: What do you mean that was it?
Lukas: It was starting to snow, so I had to leave. Lucas said we should get together one of these days for a chat… but he still hasn’t called me.
Kennedy: Well, not even 24 hours have passed.
Lukas: Yeah, I know. Now, enough about me, it’s your turn.

Kennedy: Okay. Orange asked me out too.
Lukas: He did? Wow.
Kennedy: Is that all you’re gonna say? You’re not gonna tell me what you think?

Lukas: Well, to be honest, I liked Yosef better, but you’re into Orange, so…
Kennedy: Yeah. I can’t wait for him to asks me to be his girlfriend.
Lukas: Does Anika know already?
Kennedy: No, but if Orange asks me, I will not only tell her, but the whole family, and I will announce it on Social Bunny and Simstagram too.
Lukas: I’m sure you will.
OUTSIDE THE GYM, BEFORE GOING HOME

Kennedy: What about you? Are you telling anyone else at home about Lucas?
Lukas: Not until I know exactly what he’s up to. I don’t want to make assumptions that are probably just in my imagination.

Lukas: So please, not a word to anyone yet, okay?
Kennedy: Mm, just promise me I’ll be first to know when you and Lucas talk.
Lukas: I promise.
Kennedy: Okay then, your secret is safe with me.
