Mid-morning, at the Cho dorm…

The new cleaning girl arrived, and as Kelly is busy, Sarah kindly offered to welcome her.

Well, it seems that they both got a very good impression of each other. 🤭

Sarah: So, what’s your name?
Dina: I’m Dina, your new maid; I’ll work from 10 am to 1 pm.
Sarah: Well, then you’d better start right away.

Dina: Do you mind if we discuss my salary first?
Sarah: Your salary, but of course! You’re not going to work for free, are you?
Dina: I guess not. I thought I should discuss that with you, since you seem to be in charge of this dorm.
Sarah: In charge? No, I wish! I’m just a fellow roomie.

Sarah: But mind you, I’m the smartest of them all, I have excellent grades and I’m an absolute videogame champion.
Dina: Oh, really? I love video games.
Well, it seems that Sarah has managed to impress the new cleaning girl. 😉

The day goes on. By the time Dina finishes her shift, Kelly is still busy practicing her charisma skill and cannot go and pay her.

So, again, Sarah is “in charge”. At this point, it’s quite clear that the two have hit it off.
Dina: Well, Sarah, it was nice to meet you, I’ll see you tomorrow.
Sarah: Wait… Uh, since you’ve finished your shift, would you like to stay and hang out?

Dina can’t believe her luck and quickly changes into her everyday clothes.
Dina: Hanging out with you? Of course, I’d love to.
Sarah: Great, I’ve got a new video game I think maybe you’d like. Let’s go inside and I’ll show you.

While Sarah gets to know their new assistant, Kelly wonders what’s taking Dale so long. His second exam finished almost an hour ago. He was supposed to come straight home after it. Where the hell is he?

Her thoughts are interrupted by the sudden entrance of Sarah and Dina.
Kelly: Huh? What is she still doing here? I thought her shift had ended.

Kelly: Dina? I thought your shift was over… And where’s your uniform?
Dina: Uh, I…
Sarah: I invited her to play video games. She doesn’t need a uniform for that, does she?
Kelly: (Sighs) Dina, listen, I don’t want to pry…
Sarah: Then don’t.
Kelly: (To Sarah) I hired her, so I’ll do the talking here, okay?
Sarah: (Rolls eyes) Fine.

Kelly: See, Dina. Your time off and what you do with it is your business only, I just hope hanging out with Sarah won’t affect your work.
Dina: Oh, don’t worry, I’ll only stay a while, and I’ll turn up for work on time tomorrow.

And that was it. Kelly doesn’t want problems with Sarah. Who is she to tell her who she can and can’t hang out with? The thing is, if Sarah takes an interest in Dina, she’ll forget about Lauri, and Lauri will continue to think about Dale… Oh well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, hopefully it’s just video games. 🙄

Sarah: What are you waiting for? Sit down, the game has already started.
Dina: Are you sure it’s alright with Kelly if I stay?
Sarah: Of course it is, Kelly can be a bit bossy, but as soon as her boyfriend arrives, she’ll completely forget about us.

Sarah: Your turn… Yes! That’s it, you’re doing great!
Dina: Wow, it’s not that difficult after all.
Sarah: Not with a super gamer like me as a teacher.

Kelly has moved to another room. It looks like it’s going to be a long video game afternoon. Still remains to be seen what Lauri will say when she finds someone in her side of the sofa and using her game controller!
