Tyron is already at the Coffeehouse; the show is about to start.

There are more people in the audience than at other times, there are even people he would rather not be there.

Like Madeline, Jasper’s wife, for example, what the heck is she doing here? There are other attendees, of course, Kurtis Langerak and his wife Amber, Tristan Luck and his mother, Sabrina, are just a few of them.

But again, why is Madeline here, is Jasper joining her later? That would not be pretty for Tyron.

Anyway, at the appointed time, Tyron begins his performance.

He hasn’t chosen the most cheerful songs for tonight, by the way.

But even though sad, he puts all the feeling into his performance, as always. The audience applauds wildly.

Little by little, the response of the people cheers him up, and he leaves the sad songs for something more upbeat. The audience gets even more engaged.

In the end, the gig turns out to be a success. The owner of the Coffeehouse is delighted, there are sure to be more contracts for Tyron, too bad he will no longer be there to fulfill them, as he will be moving to Starlight Shores soon.

He takes a bow to say goodbye. It’s time to get the hell out of there!

Just as Tyron prepares to leave the stage, he notices Madeline staring at him. Does she want to tell him something? Hopefully not, facing his rival’s wife would be rather awkward.

As if that wasn’t enough, Jasper’s daughter Julie is there too, accompanied by Milton Langerak’s wife, Samantha. Also present are Aunt Misty, and Brandon Langerak, whom Terry sent from Lucky Palms to check that everything was in order after the divorce. Too many familiar people, Tyron takes a few sips of water to make himself feel less overwhelmed.

And now Julie is looking at him like this? Is she flirting with him? That would be the last straw. Tyron can’t help but wonder, does she know what his father did? There’s no way she doesn’t, Hidden Springs is a small town, it all gets out there sooner or later.

Julie has come to congratulate him, all Tyron can think about is that bastard Jasper! His daughter and Candice are practically the same age – isn’t that outrageous? Also, Julie is best friends with Katie, the O’Dourke’s daughter, whom Tyron hasn’t seen in a while. In fact, it’s odd that being her number one fan she hasn’t come to the concert.

Julie expressed her admiration and left. Phew! Tyron doesn’t want any more trouble with young girls. Especially if they are from the Goth family. (Although, honestly, Julie is not as young as Katie, she’s a young adult already, but she’s still a Goth).

Madeline is waiting on the sidewalk, Tyron would like to talk to her, but Kayla’s father Robert is nearby, better to wait until he leaves. By the way, Kayla did not attend because she had some design work to finish.

Finally, as Robert gets into a cab and leaves, Tyron walks over to Madeline; she stands in place, as if she had been waiting for him.

Tyron: Mrs. Goth? I’m Tyron Cho, I’m…
Madeline: Candice Barnard’s husband, I know.
Tyron: Ex-husband actually. We got divorced today.

Madeline: Oh, believe me, I’m really sorry.
Tyron: It’s okay, we split up by mutual agreement.
Madeline: Really? You don’t seem very happy about it.
Tyron: I’m not, but it was better this way.

Tyron: You know I… I wanted to apologize to you on Candice’s behalf for everything that happened.
Madeline: Oh, no, Tyron, you don’t have to apologize to me. If anything, she would have to do it.
Tyron: Well, I don’t think that’s gonna happen, so, I want you to know that I’m sorry for all the trouble you may have gone through in your marriage.

Madeline: You’re very kind, Tyron. And don’t worry, my marriage is still on despite everything. But what about you? How are you holding up?
Tyron: Actually, not well.
(Tyron and Madeline are too engrossed in conversation to notice Aunt Misty eavesdropping).

Madeline: I hear you. I know how hard it is to find out that the person you love most in the world is cheating on you. It took a lot for me to come to terms with that, but thankfully in the end Jasper and I worked it out. I wish you and Candice could work it out one day too.
Tyron: No, it’s too late for that, Candice and I are divorced now so…

Tyron can’t take it anymore and bursts into tears. He’s had too many emotions for one day. Madeline, in an impulse, hugs him to comfort him.

Tyron: I’m – I’m sorry.
Madeline: Oh no, that’s okay, crying is good for the soul, honey.

Madeline: I’ve cried a lot too, but then I decided to forget about it and forgive Jasper.
Tyron: I forgave Candice too, but… I wasn’t lucky enough to have her stay.
Madeline: Maybe she wanted to, but she didn’t know how to tell you.
Tyron: I don’t think so. She still loves… well, you know who.
Madeline: Yes, I know…

Madeline: Anyway, her loss. You’re a good boy, and a very attractive one at that. Trust me if you weren’t so many years younger than me, I’d propose we get revenge on Jasp and Candice.
Tyron(Blushing) Wow, that would be…. Mrs. Goth, I don’t think…
Madeline: Easy, darling, I would never propose such a thing. Unfortunately, I’m still very much in love with my husband; besides, I don’t think we’d gain anything by doing something like that. Right?
Tyron: Yeah.

Madeline: I’m sure you’ll find someone who will truly love and cherish you. I heard that you are moving to Starlight Shores, I sincerely hope that everything goes well for you and that you find true love there too.
Tyron: Thank you, Mrs. Goth.
Madeline: You’re welcome, Tyron, good luck with everything.

As Madeleine walks down the street. Tyron stretches in an attempt to relax his tension. Yeah, that was super awkward. 😳

And to top it all off, here comes Dr. John Goth, Madeline’s father-in-law, hopefully he didn’t overhear their conversation. That would be even more awkward.

Thank goodness Dr. Goth passed them by… Okay, enough awkwardness, it’s time to go home to Brandi. There’s still a lot of packing to do. Starlight Shores awaits!
