Allan, at the skating rink

After the romantic ride with Zoe, Allan went to try his luck at the ice-skating rink as well.

This is not unfamiliar to him, as he has skated a lot before.

But after so many years without practice, getting back to it wasn’t easy.

At first, he felt a bit shaky, even wobbled a bit.

Which made him lost his balance.

And hit the ground once. It was embarrassing. 😳

But Al is not a quitter, so he got up at once.

Luckily nothing was hurt, except his pride.

Allan: Easy, Wilson, you got this, it’s not your first rodeo.

Gradually, he regained control and self-confidence.

And there he goes. This time it was quite easy, like riding a bike again.

After several laps of the rink, this time in complete control and with good rhythm, Allan is ready to attempt a jump.

He takes momentum and…

He makes a perfect jump, landing without a problem.

He nailed it! It is indeed not his first rodeo.

Plus, Allan has always been a great dancer which makes things even easier.

Allan: And here we have Copperdale’s top figure skater, ready to receive his medal.

Allan: Well, one can dream, right?
Oh, we’re sure that with his talent and charisma (and 20 years less, of course) Allan could be an excellent, multi-award-winning figure skater.

Yeah, don’t judge me Allan, we both know that middle age is not the ideal age to start a career in skating. Though I’m sure your fans would be there to cheer you on 😉.
