Aoi: The next scene is my favorite.
Allan: Ahem, I know. All my co-stars love kissing me.
Aoi: I’m talking about what follows the kiss. Revenge will be sweet, even if it’s staged.
Allan: Really? Why would you want to take revenge on me?
Aoi: You know exactly why.

Allan: Our date of three? Please understand, my dear, I have to protect myself.
Aoi: Using me as a shield? No way.
Allan: You know that’s not how I roll, but I can’t let the paparazzi see me alone with Fabian.

Allan: They’ll start making up stories, you know? My wife may think they’re true and then…
Aoi: Whatever, Al! I won’t be your cover, or anything like it, you hear me?
Director Sherrill: Aoi, Allan… Stop chit chatting and go to your marks, please.

Allan and Aoi take deep breaths again. After their little quarrel, Allan finds it a bit harder to get into character.

Still, Kissing Aoi will be a pleasure, a bittersweet one, mind you, as he’ll have to do it in front of Fabian. But, on the other hand, if he kisses her with real heartiness, maybe that will discourage Fabian and make him stop clinging to him.

Director Sherrill: Alright guys, let’s jump straight to the kiss. Breathe, concentrate… That’s right. And… ACTION!

(*Loud romantic music plays*)

(*Romantic music plays at an even louder volume*).
Allan and Aoi are carried away by the scene; the kiss is taking longer than it should, but the director seems thrilled with it and lets it go on.

You know who’s not thrilled at all with this scene? That’s right, Fabian. And he’s sure the king and queen’s kiss didn’t last that long in the script.
Fabian: (To himself) A date of three, huh? For what, this?

The scene continues for a few seconds more. This is turning unbearable, Fabian wonders when Director Sherrill will call out the cut.
Director Sherrill: All right, hold that a little longer… And CUT!

Aoi: Wow, it was true what they say, you’re a fantastic kisser.
Allan: You’re not so bad yourself.
Aoi: Well, I hope you enjoyed it, cause that will be all for today.
Allan: So you’re not coming to our date?
Aoi: I only go on dates for two people.

Allan: Come on, Aoi, it’s just a friend outing, not a threesome.
Aoi: You sure? I’ve heard some interesting stories about your ‘friend outings’. Mortimer and Bella, Summer Holiday and her roomies, want me to go on?
Allan: Are you judging my lifestyle?
Aoi: I would never. It’s your life, Ally. But you can’t have everyone all the time, at some point you’ll have to decide on someone. I, for one, don’t plan to be a second best the rest of my life.

Aoi’s remarks had really hit home for Allan. She’s right, he can’t go on like this, he’ll have to make up his mind at some point, decide who he really wants to be with. Not in the movie, not between Fabian and Aoi, but between what he feels for Fabian and his marriage. A tough call for sure. If only he knew what to do, and if he didn’t need a drink so badly…
