After makeup and hair styling, Allan proceeded as always to the wardrobe department. He was surprised not to see Roger at his post; however, he used his flirting skills to win over his understudy, Trish Taylor. Truth be told, she doesn’t seem impressed. It’s the first time Allan’s seductive charms have failed on a girl.

Allan: What do you mean Roger isn’t coming?
Trish: Roger is on vacation, so I came in his place, is there a problem?
Allan: No, just… Well, he already knows my measures and that saves us time, I’m in a bit of a hurry, you know?
Trish: It’s okay, I’ve got your size. Although Roger warned me that you’ve gained little weight.

Allan: (Seriously Rog told her that? Am I gaining weight?)
Trish: Hmm, okay, we’ll have to figure out a way to hide that belly.
Allan: Belly? I don’t have a belly.
Trish: Oh, it’s a small one for sure, but we can’t let it show on camera. Marin was very specific about that.

Allan: Marin thinks I look fat?
Trish: She didn’t use those words exactly, but yeah. Anyway, we should pick a dark color, it will make you look slimmer.

Allan: Hey, as far as I know, I’m pretty slim.
Trish: Oh, it’s okay. You went on vacation; you didn’t have time to go to the gym. But we’ll work it out, you’ll see, I’ve got some fabulous ideas…

Trish: There, what do you think?
Allan: The color is nice, but this belt is killing me.
Trish: Yep, that’s the idea, the belt will disguise that little overweight.
Allan: …

Allan: (I’m not overweight. Or am I? Yes, yes, I am. True, I haven’t been to the gym lately, or maybe I’m just… getting old? Well, I’m not getting any younger, so, yeah… I’m old, that’s it.
Uh-oh, is a mid-life crisis brewing here?
