Cynthia is already in the bedroom, ready to rest from all the hustle of the day. Terence too, but before going to bed…
Terence: I’m so glad Davy is all grown up and has his own bedroom now, that’ll give us some privacy. We’re gonna need it to try for our second child.

Wait, second child? When did they ever talk about having a second child?
Cynthia: Excuse me?

Terence: You heard me well, baby, I want a big family, lots of little Cho babies running around the house. I’m thinking three, maybe four. Whatever they are, we can afford it.

Boy, if looks could kill…
Terence: Cyn? Did you hear what I said?
Cynthia: I heard you all right.

Terence: So? What do you think?
Cynthia: I think we should wait until Davy starts going to school. (Or how about we wait forever?)
Terence: What? No, honey, we should take advantage while we’re still young. I’d tell you to start trying tonight, but I’m really tired, maybe tomorrow.
Cynthia: (Over my dead body).

Terence: Anyway, have a good rest, babe.
Cynthia: You too, Terry.
Terence fell asleep right away; Cynthia had to take a sleeping pill. Terry’s plans have robbed her of sleep and peace of mind.

Before falling into the abyss of sleep Cynthia thinks of Davy, and that other baby she decided not to have, it happened before she got married, she never told Terry, nor the baby’s actual father, even though he had the right to know. It’s painful to remember, thankfully the pill is kicking in… Should she have told him? Or Terry? Doesn’t matter, it’s in the past now, but having another baby? Not gonna happen.
