Allan just left for the studios, Zoe is texting him, “Thank you for such beautiful moments, I hope you have a nice and fruitful first day at work.” It is very thoughtful of Zoe to support Allan with his career.

Now, we don’t know about ‘fruitful’, but Allan’s first day at the studios is being anything but pleasant. His coworkers are so happy to see him and, as soon as he arrived, they bombarded him with questions about his vacation and mostly about his rehab. Is he okay? How is he feeling? Has he noticed any improvement?

Well, Allan’s life has improved. And he should feel happy about Zoe’s message and the thrilling moments with her, but right now he just feels overwhelmed and longing for a drink – or something even stronger, if you ask him.

Especially when, guess who is in the parking lot, rehearsing his part like any disciplined, committed actor. Yes, that’s right, Fabian is there, looking fabulous in his costume. Apparently, he’s the only one who hasn’t noticed Allan’s arrival, or rather, he pretends not to.

He probably understands that a relationship between them wouldn’t go anywhere and would only bring more confusion for both of them. Fortunately for everyone, besides being a great actor, Fabian is a cautious, wise young man.

Doesn’t mean it isn’t torture for Allan, having to see him every day without being able to get any closer than necessary for work. Ah, if only his dealer Don would answer his call, he could put an end to this suffering right now.
Allan: Come on Lothario, answer my calls, please…
Oh no, Imane is coming his way! But – is she going into the men’s room?

Imane: Al, is everything okay?
Allan: Oh, yeah, I was just… I was answering a message from Zoe. And you? Was the ladies’ room busy or something?
Imane: This bathroom is gender mixed, remember?
Allan: Oh, that’s right, I forgot.

Imane: Okay, now go to the set. Don’t forget to stop by wardrobe and makeup, and please be quick, the whole crew is ready to go.
Allan: I won’t be long, I promise.

Allan: Dang, it’s impossible to text or make calls from these studios, even from the bathroom. Where did all the privacy go?

Allan: Maybe it’s a sign that I should wait to call Don. Or maybe I shouldn’t call him at all? I’ve been clean for so long, if I fall off the wagon I’ll lose my badges, and my family’s trust. I’ll have to go back to rehab, that would suck! I must resist, though it becomes more difficult every day.

Tulia: Ally, hi.
Allan: Hi, Tul.
Tulia: Good to see you back. You look good; vacation suited you.
Allan: Really?

Tulia: Yes, you look much healthier and sharp. I guess it’s because of rehab.
Allan: Yeah, well…
Tulia: You’re doing great, Al, keep it up. Remember everyone here is rooting for you.
Allan: Uh, that’s – that’s lovely. Thank you, Tul.

Tulia Savea, the camera assistant, was the first girl at the studios who agreed to date him, even when he was nobody. She has always been very sweet to him.
Allan: Tulia believed in me when no one else did. And now not only she, but everyone here thinks I’m cool and trusts me to stay sober. I can’t let them down. Or Zoe and the kids. I have to hang in there for all of them, and I will, or at I least I’ll try.
