Ok, enough self-pity, Allan goes back to the mirror, to try to memorize his part.

But it’s hard to concentrate knowing that Zoe is in the next room, still pissed at him. It won’t be easy to content her after ripping her dream vacation away from her.

He finally manages to find some inspiration…

… And get into character.

Allan: There it is! I haven’t lost my touch. I still got it. I’m sure I’ll win another Starlight Accolade. I’d better start rehearsing my thank-you speech.

Allan: Who didn’t support me and told me that if I made this movie, I’d forget I have a wife… Ugh, I don’t want to lose her, but I just can’t let my star fade, I’m still too young to be forgotten!

Yeah, Allan doesn’t have it easy. It’s his career or his marriage. He’s been through this before and it didn’t end well, so good luck with this one. 😥
