Patrick’s business appointment that afternoon was with Bianca Rubble; she had asked him to meet because she had something important to tell him.

It turns out she wanted to make a donation to Patrick’s campaign. Awesome!
Bianca: I know you’re not the candidate, I wish, but I know you’re the campaign planner so just for that alone I’m happy to contribute something.

Patrick was amazed and very grateful for the unexpected donation.
Patrick: Wow, Bianca, thank you so much, I assure you that our candidate and the entire team will not let you or the other voters down.
Bianca: I know.

Bianca: See, I don’t have a particular favorite party, I always vote for the person, not the colors, but I think this time your candidate is the right one. And to be even more honest, I think anyone is better than Jeffrey Cook running for Governor for the umpteenth time.
Patrick: We’re completely in agreement on that.

Patrick: And if our candidate wins, he’ll put every penny of what you and other supporters have kindly donated to us to work.
Bianca: I’m sure he will, and I’m even more sure you’ll become the Governor yourself someday.
Patrick: You really think so?
Bianca: Of course, you’re a great guy, and you’re very good with politics.

After thanking Bianca again and again, Pat went directly to see his fellow party members to tell them the news. Unbelievable, their first donation. And they had not yet organized their first fundraiser!
