Anika got a text message from Lucas Munch, he and Orange Bailey-Moon are about to arrive, they’re only a few minutes away from the Sulani villa. Great! Now better hurry up with dinner.

From inside, Allan and Zoe’s voices can be heard discussing something, Anika really hopes they are not arguing.

Fortunately, Kennedy arrived at that moment; Zoe said no more and stood up from the table.
Kennedy: Something wrong with mom?
Allan: Nah, she just had too much sun and is a little uncomfortable.
Hm, Kennedy doesn’t buy it. Not saying Dad’s a liar, but she knows her parents, something’s not right.

Anika agrees with Kennedy, something is off for a change. Hopefully dinner won’t be ruined. Kennedy and Lukas have been waiting for this moment for so long.

Dinner is ready, Anika isn’t willing to wait, Lukas looks in better spirits than a while ago, Alexander seems worried though; or possibly saddened by Anika’s parents’ problems? Anyway, Orange is finally arriving, but where is Kennedy?

Yeah, here she comes, quick as lightning.
Kennedy: Orange, hello!
Orange doesn’t answer right away, he looks distracted, and she’d say even a little annoyed.

Kennedy: Hey, Orange, are you okay?
Orange: Oh, hi, Kenny. Um, sorry, yeah, I’m fine.
Kennedy: Doesn’t look like it. You seem worried.
Orange: Not worried, I just… I had an argument with my parents, family stuff, you know.

Kennedy: Aw, I’m sorry, I hope it’s nothing serious.
Orange: No, it’s just celebrity parents’ stuff, you know how that works.
Kennedy: Ha, I sure do, and you can count on me for anything.

Orange: Thank you, you’re an awesome friend, Kenny.
Awesome “friend”? Kenny certainly hopes that changes soon enough.

Alexander: Relax, Kas. Lucas is already here; he’s just greeting your parents in there.

As Kennedy offers Orange some dinner, Lucas Munch makes his appearance, escorted by Allan, who thinks it prudent to oversee the gathering. Too many teenage hormones together in one place, better keep an eye on all of them. (In the background, Anika is sharing all about it on Social Bunny, she seems amused with the comments).

Kennedy: Seriously, I’m glad you and Lucas decided to come. My brother will be so happy.
Orange: Lukas? Why?
Kennedy: Well, because Lucas is his best friend and because…. never mind, you’ll find out.

Zoe decided to join the party, she remains a bit distant from Allan and he seems rather absent.
Anika: Mom and dad are very quiet; I haven’t seen them talk to each other since that argument earlier. Yeah, something’s definitely not right.
