As soon as Zoe got home from work, Allan told her about his encounter with Keira, making it clear to her that it gas nothing to worry about, just a chat between friends.

Of course, he left out the tiny detail that he and Keira had had an affair that almost ended in marriage while he and Zoe were apart. Zoe has no idea who this Keira Gillete is, but she’s sure to find out.

Anika: Oh, come on mom, I’m sure it’s nothing, she’s just one more of dad’s coworkers.
Zoe: Well, I googled her: “Keira Gillete, Plumbob Studios’ hottest actress”. Also, the gossip mags say she had a “brief” affair with Allan Wilson. But when did that happen? Before, during, or after our divorce?

Anika: Mom, who cares? “Plumbob Studios’ hottest actress”, and her “brief romance”, are in the past. You’re married to daddy, for the second time, that must mean something, don’t you think?

Zoe: You’re right. If your father didn’t tell me about that affair, maybe it’s because he didn’t consider it important.
Anika: Exactly.

Meanwhile, Allan is not entirely at ease. He told Zoe the truth about his meeting with Keira, but he didn’t tell her what she once meant to him. She was much more important than Brytani, even than Daisuke, which is saying a lot. But their date today was most innocent, just a friendly chat and nothing else, this was in part thanks to Luna Villarreal, who apparently didn’t run to tell Zoe.

Allan finished the day playing video games with Zeke, until Zeke fell asleep. Allan continued playing to distract himself from thinking, but some intrusive thoughts managed to creep into his head.

Allan: Keira has changed a lot; she looks even more beautiful. And we’ll make another movie together, her, me and Fabian. Ah, God give me the strength not to fail Zoe. Should I tell her about my past with Keira? Should I tell her about Fabby too?
