The time has come at last, Keira is going out on her ‘date’ with Allan. In quotes because it’s not really a date, at least not for Allan. Although Keira can’t help but feel a bit of excitement.

At the Wilsons’ house, Zoe is also on her way out, she’s headed to work. She doesn’t know about Allan and Keira’s meeting. Allan didn’t tell her because he doesn’t want her to worry, and because ‘what you don’t know can’t hurt you’. Plus, he’s not doing anything inappropriate, since this is not a romantic date.

Zeke is also leaving, he’s going to school.

Remember Lukas and Kennedy graduated early because of their excellent grades, so Anika is the only one of the siblings who still has to go to high school. By the way, Lukas hasn’t taken his eyes off his phone all morning; he’s been waiting for a message from Lucas Munch after their last conversation, but so far he hasn’t received any.

In order not to think of him, and since it’s still early to go to work, Lukas decided to entertain himself play a game of blicblock.

While Allan and Kennedy are playing a game of chess. She doesn’t have to go to work yet either, and Allan needs to kill time before he leaves for his appointment.
Kennedy: So you have to go out, where to?
Allan: Willow Creek.

Kennedy: Willow Creek? Wow, I’ve heard it’s really nice. Is mom going with you?
Allan: Nope, she’s at work already.
Kennedy: Can I come with you then? It’s still a few hours before I have to go to the cafe.
Allan: Uh, sorry, sweetie, but this is kind of a business meeting.

Kennedy: Not with Elisabeta, I hope.
Allan: Oh, no, of course not.
Kennedy: Okay. Does Mom know?
Allan: Does Mom know what?
Kennedy: That you’re going on that date. Allan: I didn’t hear her comment on that.

Allan: Cause I didn’t get to tell her. But I’ll call her later to let her know. And it’s not a date.
Kennedy: Oh, okay. *To herself*. Hm, there’s something fishy here, like Dad’s hiding something. Who is he meeting in Willow Creek? He said it’s not Elisabeta – thank goodness -, but then who could it be? Anyway, Dad knows what he’s doing, I’ll have to trust him.
