Lukas is in a much better mood today, as he has been in constant communication with Lucas. He still hasn’t told him what he needs to tell him, but he was happy to hear that he and Kennedy didn’t go out on a date last night after karaoke.

The one who didn’t wake up in a good mood at all is Anika, it’s a cold and cloudy day, plus, school is obviously not her cup of tea.

In the bathroom for a quick change of attire. The outfit improved her looks, but not her state of mind.
Anika: Geez, I hate school so much. Such a waste of time!

It looks like Anika is not the only one in the school who is in a bad place, Taku isn’t looking too hot either.

In fact, everyone in class looks pretty fed up and distracted, must be the winter or the approaching exams.

When the class ends…
Anika: Hey, Otto, I wanted to thank you again for offering help with my research, in the end Lukas helped me finish it and I’ve already handed it to Miss Coombes.
Otto: Great! And there’s nothing to thank, if you ever need any help, I’ll be here.
Otto is such a good friend. 😊

Anika’s grade problem has been solved, she’s feeling much better, so now she can enjoy lunch with her classmates.

Oops, it looks like there are no seats left at the table. The principal has invited Otto to sit down, he can’t refuse and gets stuck there.

Oh well, one solitary lunch never killed anyone. Besides, Anika is starving, she was running late this morning and didn’t get to try her mom’s scrumptious breakfast.

Since Mrs. Prescott was around, she thanked her for not filing a report.
Anika: Thank you for saving me, Mrs. Prescott, really.
Mrs. Prescott: To be honest, it wasn’t me who saved you, but your sister Kennedy, and the essay you turned in, although a little bit late.

To continue with the positive things, Anika got a call from Alexander, he was especially affectionate and even told her that, as soon as they finish the exams, they will talk about their future together. That’s great news!

Wait, ‘their future together’? Does that mean Alexander wants to get married or something? They’re too young for that! And Anika isn’t thinking about marriage right now, her goal is only one: to be famous like her dad.

In spite of everything, the idea of spending the rest of her life with Alexander is very attractive to Anika. Anyway, the next class has started, better pay attention not to get into trouble again, right?
