About half an hour later, Lucas Munch joins the party.
Lucas: Hey, Kas, Kenny, what’s with those faces? You don’t look like you’re having much fun, why?

Lucas: Oh, I see, you came with your parents. Come on, it’s not that bad, your dad being a celebrity and all… Anyway, Kenny, would you like to dance?
Kennedy: Uh – sorry, but I’m kind of tired after the karaoke.
Lucas: Shall I get you a drink then?
Lukas: …

Kennedy: Well, actually, I have to go to the bathroom, why don’t you and Lukas go ahead and order something for yourselves?
Lucas: Sure.
Lukas: Thanks, but I’m not thirsty right now.
Kennedy: *Lowering her voice* Come on Kas, now’s your chance, don’t blow it.

Kennedy: Well, I’ve given them space, hopefully Kas will speak up and Lucas won’t behave like a jerk. But they better be discreet, Dad is looking this way, he seems very aware of us, I hope I wasn’t too obvious.

Kennedy: Anyway, Orange is still nowhere to be found. Maybe I should forget about him and give Lucas Munch a chance? No, I can’t do that to my brother. And like I said, Lucas isn’t my type.

Returning from the restroom, and at Lucas insistence, Kennedy agrees to hang out with him, but she feels bad thinking she’s betraying her brother. (Meanwhile, at karaoke, another Allan fan is singing, who of course has copied his outfit). 😄

Lucas Munch has returned to his table to wait for Kennedy, leaving Kas alone. Allan has already noticed something is off with the three of them.
Allan: Hey, Kas, are you okay, son?
Lukas: Sure I am, why?
Allan: Well, you don’t look like it, are you bored?
Lukas: What? No, not at all.

Allan: We can go someplace else if you want.
Lukas: Uh – no, no, this place is fine.
Allan: You sure? We can go home if you’re not feeling up to it.
Lukas: No, I’m fine, seriously, Dad. Just stop worrying about me and enjoy the evening.
Allan: Okay.

Kennedy and Lucas Munch are back from their very brief chat. She made sure Lucas sat next to Kas, and she went to sit with Zeke. All these moves did not go unnoticed by Allan.
Allan: *To himself*. What’s wrong with Kenny today, why does she keep pushing Lucas away, is she mad at him or something?

Allan: And why does Lukas suddenly look so happy? A while ago he seemed sad and bored, but as soon as Lucas sat down next to him…Wait! Could it be…? Oh, dear, I think I need a drink now.
(Yep, Allan is no fool. Plus, he knows a thing or two about this kind of situation).

Allan: Too bad I can’t drink, I’m rehabbed. Oh, but this bar looks so good, the fake drink on the wall is such a temptation, and that picture of Bobby next to it isn’t helping either. Maybe I’m the one who should go home? Hopefully Zoe has finished talking to her friend. She was waving her goodbye a while ago, why hasn’t she left?

Minutes later, Zoe is back with Allan. Zoe: I’m already here, love, sorry for leaving you alone, that was an old friend and a potential new client, I didn’t want to lose her.
Allan: Oh, no problem, I understand.
Meanwhile, Kas is coming out of the bathroom, Lucas left a while ago and he’s checking his phone for any messages from him.

Allan and Zoe have become a little too flirty; the paparazzi start circling them like sharks…
Zoe: It’s crowded in here, we’ll be more comfortable at home, don’t you think?
Allan: Yeah, actually, I was waiting for Kas, I think he wanted to leave as well. Zoe: Perfect, let’s go then.

Allan: Lukas, your mom and I are ready to go home, are you coming?
Kas: Yeah, I think so.
Allan: Sure everything is alright?
Kas: Yes, dad, all is fine, I already told you.
Allan: Okay, I don’t want to push, but if you need to talk, anytime, I’m here, okay?
Kas: O-okay.

Once at home…
Lukas: Oh, no, Dad knows, I’m sure! But how did he find out? Never mind, I’ll have to talk to him and mom at some point. Granted, I must talk to Lucas first, but when, and how? Ugh, why is being in love so difficult?
