Kennedy: You shouldn’t talk to Lukas like that, he has enough to deal with to add a sisterly jealousy.
Anika: It’s not jealousy, I just hate it when he doesn’t trust me.
Kennedy: You must understand, he’s confused.

Kennedy: Imagine what it will be like to have always liked girls, and then all of a sudden, you realize that you like boys too. And that the guy you have a crush on is actually your best friend.
Anika: Yeah, it must not be easy.

Kennedy: It’s not, and neither will be confessing it to Lucas. What if he rejects him, or if he doesn’t want to be his friend anymore? Or if he accepts him, but mom and dad are against it? It’s too much to handle, and as depressive as Lukas is, he may have a really hard time.
Anika: You’re right, I hadn’t thought about all that. Oh, poor Lukas, I shouldn’t have yelled at him.
BACK IN THE CLASSROOM…

Anika: Kas? I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you.
Lukas: It’s okay, Nika.
Anika: I want you to know that you have my support at all times. If you need to talk about it, I’m here for you.
Lukas: Thank you, Nik.

Kennedy: Well, it looks like Anika and Lukas are okay, now all that’s left is for Lucas Munch not to be a jerk and break Lukas’ heart.
