The Wilson kids are back at school, Kennedy wasn’t in the mood to stay at the cafeteria and is taking her lunch in the hallway. She’s a little bummed that Orange didn’t call her all weekend.

Lukas is also depressed but for different reasons. So much so that he can’t concentrate at the computer lab. Meanwhile, his classmate Taku seems very committed to his studies.

Diego has just arrived, and unlike him, he looks rested and happy.
Diego: Hey, Lukas, how was your weekend?
Lukas: Meh, not bad.

Diego: Seriously, you should go to one of our parties, you’d have a good time.
Lukas: Uh, yeah, maybe next time.
Miss Coombes: Kids, enough talk, get to work or return to your classrooms.

Anjelo: Kennedy, did you finish your lunch?
Kennedy: Almost done, Mr. Morlind.
Anjelo: Well, next time take it in the cafeteria, it’s the right place.
Kennedy: Yes, Mr. Morlind.

Kennedy: Even Mr. Morlind realizes that I exist, but Orange, not a peep out of him. By the way, Mr. Morlind is not bad, if he wasn’t my teacher and a few years older than me… And if I could forget Orange, of course…

Anika is anxious too, she hasn’t heard from Alexander since he asked her dad for permission to date her. Not a call, not even a short text, is he ever going to ask her out?

Oh, it looks like he sent her a text just now.
Alexander: Hey, Anika, how is school?
Anika: Boring as always. BTW, I know you talked to my dad.
Alexander doesn’t answer right away. He’s typing and typing… Answering seems to take him forever. Finally, he stops writing and goes offline.

Anika: *While looking at the inactive screen* Alexander, you coward, are you hiding from me? *Sigh*. Well, maybe he just had to go into class, like me now.

Kennedy also checks her phone. Orange hasn’t sent her any messages, not even to say hello.
Kennedy: Come on, Orange, give me a sign of life.

Nothing. Orange is online, but he’s not typing or anything. He must be in class by now.

Kennedy: It would all be so simple if I liked Lucas Munch, that goofball has been after me since we were kiddies. I mean, he’s not bad looking at all, but he’s just not my type, plus Lukas has a crush on him, I can’t get in the way. I wish Orange would ask me out already! If he knows I exist, what with his parents being celebrities and all.

Shortly before going to class, Kennedy relaxes by playing chess to take Orange off her mind.

But it was no use, she keeps thinking about him. The bell has rung again, it’s time to go back to the classroom.
