Allan is flattered that Alexander wants to copy his clothing style, although he doesn’t feel he’s exactly a role model for the youth.
Allan: Trust me Alex, you don’t want to be like me.
Alexander: Why not? You’re a great actor, you’re famous, and a success.

Allan: Succeeding is not everything, you know. There are other things in life, like love and family. I guess one day you’ll fall in love with a girl, you’ll want to marry her, have a house and kids with her, then you’ll understand.
Alex: True. And speaking of that…
Lukas: *In the background, to himself* Tell him, Alex, that you are already in love, and the girl is Anika. And, Dad, what rock have you been living under that you haven’t noticed?

Alexander: Do you think you can give me permission to start dating Anika?
Allan: W-what? You want to date my… You and Anika?
Alexander: Yes, sir, but don’t worry, my intentions are good.
Allan: Uh – okay?
Alexander: Thank you, Mr. Wilson.

What else could Allan do but agree? Mortimer and Bella have been his, ahem, friends since forever, (though not the most recommendable, right?) And he’s known Alexander since he was a little kid, he’s a good boy, but still… Allan: Anika and Alexander? That I didn’t see coming, just yesterday they were babies! Ah, time goes by so fast, I’m getting old, yeah.
