Cynthia: Come on, honey, it’s time for your nap.

Davy: Daddy? Cynthia: Daddy’s gone to work, but he’ll be back in the evening. If you want, we can play a little before bedtime, or maybe you’d like some cake?

Davy: No! I want daddy!
Cynthia: I’m sorry, sweetheart. I know I’m not your cup of tea, but you’re stuck with me for now.

Cynthia has had a hard time with Davy, as he has his temper, inherited from Terence, no doubt.

It’s barely noon and she already looks exhausted, with good reason, raising Davy has been no picnic, first because he’s too fussy, and second because she’s starting to get bored of being at home 24/7. What she wants most is to go back to work, hopefully Terry doesn’t mind.

And hopefully he doesn’t want to have more babies either, at least not for now. Don’t get Cynthia wrong, it’s not that she doesn’t like children, in fact she adores Davy, it’s just that being a mom doesn’t come so naturally to her, it has cost her a lot of effort, and patience, which is not among her virtues.

On the other hand, she’s truly fascinated with Davy’s resemblance to Terence. Yeah, the Chos are going to adore him; and the Vanderburgs, though they can’t stand Terence, will surely melt for him too.

By the way, Davy is not the Chos’ first grandchild, Tyron’s daughter Brandi came before him, but he’s the first grandchild boy, which Terence takes great pride in. Cynthia doesn’t care about those things, but she does think he’s the cutest boy in the world, not because he’s her son or anything. 😉

And that’s been all about the Cho-Vanderburgs of Lucky Palms, for now. Thanks for reading this far. 💗
