It’s late afternoon at Brytani Cho’s house.

Brytani and Mercy have just returned from a stroll, it was good for Brytani to get out; but Mercy is not that happy cause she’s starving!
Mercy: Mommy, food!

Brytani: Don’t worry, sweetie, your food will be here in a minute, I promise.

Well, it seems like Mercy doesn’t want to wait any longer.
Mercy: Mommy?
Brytani: Hold on just a minute, honey… Where the hell is the nanny?
Bryt is trying to stay calm; she doesn’t want to call Allan as Octavia suggested, but she doesn’t know how much longer she’ll put up with all this.

She doesn’t think she can handle it on her own; she desperately needs help. She was in rehab too, because, like Allan, she was addicted to certain ‘substances’, she doesn’t want to fall back into that.

Brytani: It’s getting harder and harder to resist temptation, I do need a fix, but I can’t, nor should I, not with Mercy at home. Heaven help me, I don’t think I can hold out much longer.

Brytani admits she needs support, not only with her daughter but in other ways, yet – calling Allan? Yeah, that she’s not too sure about.

Yesterday she was able to check out his new house, it’s huge and luxurious, and in the best area of the city.

Brytani: That bastard is living the high life, while I can’t even continue my career. This maternity leave has me unemployed; I need to get back to work, but how? Mercy needs more than just me and a nanny.

Brytani: Yes, he’ll have to help me, not with money of course, I’d never accept it, but a bit of his time, that I’d appreciate. So it’s decided, as soon as I gather the courage I’ll give him a call.
