Before calling it a night, Pat invited Jun over for dinner; apparently, the pizza wasn’t enough, so he “cooked” something for both of them.

Autumn Salad, the only thing Patrick knows how to make so far, turned out pretty well; or at least we don’t see Jun complaining.

Patrick: So, how is it?
Jun: Much better than mine, believe me.

Patrick: Really? Wow, I didn’t think anyone would like my cooking.
Jun: Well, I do.
Patrick: Great, I’ll try to improve it for next time.
Jun: *Still munching* Okay.

Pat hadn’t noticed it before, but Jun’s table manners are not the most refined.

That could be a problem if she’s going to be his companion in future political campaigns, fundraisers and such. Something will have to be done about it,

Anyway, that’s not important now, Pat loves Jun just the way she is, manners or no manners. All he wants is to be near her, that’s why he’s thinking of asking her to move in with him.

Not today though, they’re both too tired to talk about anything that serious.

After a long goodbye, Jun went home. The two have an agreement, she doesn’t stay over if the next day is a workday.

They don’t always respect that rule, but today they did, since they were both exhausted. Other weekends will come when they can see each other and have fun together.

And when Pat moves up in his job, with Tiara’s help, he will be able to rent a bigger apartment, he will ask her to move in together, then they won’t have to be apart at night anymore. 😊🌙
