Sarah has finished her practice; she’s just waiting for Lauri to finish broadcasting so they can go home together.

It doesn’t look like Lauri will be done soon, but she’ll wait for her anyway, the drive home is one of the few times they can talk alone and get to know each other better.

At the dorm, Dale puts the phone away and goes back to the living room to smoke another cigarette. He doesn’t really agree with the idea of giving Riley a job. And knowing his brother, he will surely try to take advantage of the situation, which could get them all into further trouble, but at the same time he admits Terry is the only one who could give Riley her just deserts in case she tried something stupid. Anyway, for the moment the subject is closed, or at least, pending.

When Sarah and Lauri returned home, Dale was getting ready to do the laundry, but before going down to the basement, he passed Terence’s message to Sarah about a possible job in Lucky Palms. Sarah was quite surprised, but a little excited at the same time.

Sarah: I love that song!
Dale: Me too.
Sarah: Do you really think I shouldn’t accept to work with your brother?
Dale: Yes. I know him, his middle name is trouble, and he doesn’t have a good temper. But you’re a grown-up, so it’s your decision.
Sarah: Hm, I may accept it after all, as long as Riley is no longer there, of course.
Dale: Well, good luck with that.

Oops, Lauri doesn’t seem to like seeing Sarah dancing with Dale, though it’s unclear who she’s jealous of, her or him, or both? Lauri is going to have to make up her mind soon.

Back in the bedroom, Sarah looks happy and relaxed playing video games.
Lauri: I saw you dancing with Dale, you two are very close, I see.
Sarah: Do I detect a little jealousy? No need to, Cho and I are just good friends, so much that his brother Terry offered me a job.
Lauri: Terry the Terrible? The mobster? You’re not planning to accept.
Sarah: It depends on the job, and the pay of course. Not all of us are rich and spoiled little girls, you know. Lauri: …
