It’s almost noon, Dale has just sent a long message to his brother explaining everything he found out that morning about Riley’s visit to Lucky Palms. Terence is quick to reply.

Terence: Hey, D! Thanks for the heads up. So that spoiled brat Riley wanted to use you to collect her old man’s money, huh? Don’t worry, whatever she’s up to coming to Lucky Palms, I’m not falling for it. As for not giving her a job at my casino, haven’t you heard about ‘keeping your friends close and your enemies closer’?
Dale: Yeah, that sounds great in theory, but I’m not sure how well it will work with someone like Riley. She’s kind of tricky, man.
Terence: Easy, bro, you leave her to me, I’ll take care.

Dale: What exactly are you planning to do?
Terence: Go to the date, hear what she has to say, then give her the job.
Dale: What? No!
Terence: Yes, that way I’ll find out what she’s really up to and possibly give her what she deserves. I mean, I don’t wanna ruin my partnership with G.W, but if that c*nt is planning to hurt my family, she’s got another thing coming.

Dale: I’d rather you just deny her the job, but if you think you can get her, go ahead, just remember: no violence, please.
Terence: Relax, bro, I wouldn’t risk my business with G.W. like that, we’re in the middle of something big, you know? So don’t worry, there will be no violence – unless it’s strictly necessary.
Dale: Terry, come on…
Terence: Just kidding. I’ll let you know whatever I find out. Maybe it’s nothing, maybe she just wants to hit on me. No wonder, girls here in Lucky Palms love me, hehe.

Dale: Good for you, though I must remind you Riley doesn’t like boys.
Terence: She doesn’t? It didn’t seem so to me… Anyway, would you tell Sarah to call me sometime?
Dale: Sarah? What for?
Terence: Well, I’ve heard she’s a computer genius, I may have a job for her too.
Dale: Really? Okay, I’ll give her your message, though I don’t think she’ll be interested.
Terence: We’ll see about that. I should go now. Big hug, and greetings to Kelly.
Dale: Thank you, big hug for you too. Talk to you later, take care of yourself, T.
Terence: You too, D. See you soon.

Terence noticed that Dale did not send greetings to Cynthia as well. The reason is obvious.

Dale assumes he understands, ‘bros before hoes’, right? It’s an unspoken code among the Cho brothers that remains intact – in spite of everything.
