In the bathroom, Dale is finishing washing his dish; he hasn’t said a word since they got up from the table, nor in all the time he and Kelly have been there.
(*Breaking the fourth wall to say that I keep wondering why they insist on using the bathroom sink and not the kitchen to wash dishes, oh well).

Dale stops washing, wipes his hands and stares at the mirror, as if looking for some non-existent flaw.
Kelly: Relax, honey, there’s nothing wrong with you, she’s just not into boys – or girls for that matter, she only cares about money, heck she would f*ck her bank account if that was possible.
Dale: I know, and I don’t give a sh*t about her, it’s Sarah I’m worried about, that whole ‘plan’ of Riley’s must have been dreadful for her.

Kelly: Yeah, I feel for Sarah too. But she’s strong and as far as I can see she’s pulled through.
Dale: Yeah, it seems so… But I’m also worried about my brother, why did Riley go to him? Maybe she’ll try to sweet talk him into her evil plans too.
Kelly: Well, I don’t think Terry would be of any use to her. She needs a man to marry, and your brother is happily married already. Plus, I don’t think she could con someone like Terence, he’s more likely to con her. Not to mention his little wife worships him like a god, she’d jump on Riley like a dog if she tried to steal him away from her.

Dale: Not so sure about that. Cyn pretends to be tough, but deep down she’s really not. She could get hurt out of all this, just like Sarah.
Kelly notices Dale’s sympathetic tone in describing Cynthia, and quickly changes the subject.
Kelly: Anyway, she’s not the point here, let’s better talk about how we’ll prepare for whatever Riley is up to.
Dale: *Sighs*. Yeah, first thing is to warn Terry about this ‘secret’ before Riley does, that way he’ll be on guard, and she won’t be able to trick him. I’ll also advise him not to give her a job under any circumstances.
Kelly: Good call. I mean, Terry’s not my favorite person, but it’s best for all of us if he stays away from that witch.

Dale: Okay then, I’ll get my phone to send him a message.
Dale leaves the bathroom on his way to the bedroom. Kelly hurries to finish washing her dish.

She catches him halfway, she feels the urge to see what he’s going to write to Terry, but she holds back, she’s supposed to be trying to be less toxic and controlling. Plus, her class starts in a couple of hours, so she better hurry and get in the shower.
