Dale: So, what did Brian Petersen want with you?
Kelly: Well, he tried to ask me to lunch, I told him I had a boyfriend, and that was it.
Dale: And the message earlier? Does he insist on inviting you?
Kelly: No, he got it, he just wanted to say good night to me.
Dale: …
Kelly: Can we quit talking about Brian and get back to where we were?

So, Dale and Kelly pick up where they left off. 😉

When they finish, they’re both dead sleepy; Dale looks slightly calmer, yet…
Dale: You sure you’re not going to dump me for a better-looking guy?
Kelly: Dale, stop saying stupid things, will you? I love you; you are and will always be the only one for me.
Dale: And I love you, babe, but if you left me, I’d die.
Kelly: *Smiles*. Relax, honey. that’s never gonna happen. Now, I wish you’d tell me why you’re so insecure lately…
*Kelly slowly falls asleep, waiting for Dale’s answer*.
I just couldn’t stand it if you left me for someone else like she did.
*Falls asleep too*.

(There they are again, those intrusive thoughts in the back of Dale’s mind. It’s the trauma he was left with after Cynthia ditched him for Terence).
