The awards ceremony ended, virtually the entire audience including other celebrities left the room. Allan kindly gives an autograph to the hostess of the ceremony.

And then he has a rather dull conversation with his actor friend Nejc Stahl.

Outside PBP Studio, the press waits for the celebrities to show up. Allan hopes he can escape without being noticed. He doesn’t have time for this!

On the way out there are all his friends and acquaintances, Dustin Broke, Thorn Bailey and of course Brytani and her best friend Octavia. Allan hurries his pace, he doesn’t want to get in trouble, not today.

Despite his efforts to go unnoticed, Brytani reaches out to congratulate him with a hug.
Brytani: Congratulations, love, you deserved that award more than anyone.
Allan: Thank you, Bryt.
Allan admits her hug feels very good, but he really has to leave now.

Then Brytani tried to convince him to go celebrate with her, Allan declined, and a mini argument between them erupted. Brytani ended up angry and left; Allan had to deal with Octavia and Thorn, who always take Brytani’s side. Grr.

Thorn and Octavia still tried to persuade him to go with them to celebrate at their mansion, one of those epic parties full of familiar faces, some very famous, lots of alcohol, lots of… everything, a great temptation for Allan, indeed. However, tonight there’s only one place he wants to be.

And there’s only one face he’s dying to see, that of his beloved Zoe.
Zoe: Congratulations, big boy, are you ready to celebrate?
The answer was yes. Allan, Zoe and their children celebrated in style. Music, pizza, soda and, of course, no alcohol.

It’s late at night, the kids are already asleep. Allan and Zoe continue the celebration, but ahem… in private. Meanwhile, the Starlight Accolade Award now lies on a pedestal in the living room. The first of many, for sure.

Fame makes a man take things over.
Fame lets him lose, hard to swallow.
Fame puts you there where things are hollow
.
Fame.
Fame not your brain it’s just the flame,
that puts your change to keep you sane.
Fame.
Fame, what you like is in the limo.
Fame, what you get is no tomorrow.
Fame, what you need you have to borrow.
Fame
.

And that concludes Season 2 of The Wilsons. Thank you for reading this far. 💙

Song at the end of the post is Fame, by David Bowie
