WEEKS LATER, AT STUDIO PBP…

Award Ceremony Hostess: And the Starlight Accolade Award goes to… *Drum roll* Allan Wilson, for Of Tea and Treachery.

Still in shock, Allan takes the stage to receive his long-desired award.

He finally holds it in his hands, but still can’t believe it.

The audience in the hall applauds wildly, he takes a few seconds to calm down and enjoy this glorious moment.

When the applause finally ceases…
Allan: Good evening, everyone. First of all, I want to thank the Starlight Shores Film and Arts Academy for granting me this award, my first ever, hope it’s not my last, he, he.
There’s laughter, and another round of applause for Allan.

Allan: I also want to say thanks, from the bottom of my heart to my lovely wife Zoe, who chose to watch this ceremony from home, cause she was dying with nerves, among other, rather personal reasons.

Allan: Anyway, my beloved Zoe, thank you for always being there, for putting up with my nonsense, my coming home late, my work absences, and for those other situations I will not mention here, thank you for not giving up on me. I love you, babe.

Allan blows a kiss to Zoe through the camera. The audience cheers again, some holding back tears. They know Allan and Zoe have come a long way.

Allan: Thank you as well to my children Anika, Kennedy, Lukas and Zeke for your support and understanding, I know I have not been the best father, nor the most present, but know that I love you and thank you for sticking with me. Oh, just please don’t finish the pizza, save some for when I get home.
There is laughter and some scattered cheers. When they stop, Allan laughs too and goes on with his speech.

Allan: Yeah, long speech, I know. Sorry, but I also have to thank the directors Imane and Marin and the whole production staff for having believed in me in spite of everything, for their patience, and for all they have taught me.

“Last but not least, I’d like to thank Keira and Fabian, my fellow actors of Of Tea and Treachery, and all the other actors and actresses, who, besides collaborators, have been my friends, my family at the movie studios, and an important part of my career and my life. Thank you all of you“.

“I’m sending you guys a kiss and a share of this award, because it is yours as well”.
Allan blows another kiss on camera.

“That’s it, once again thank you all, those here present and those who are not, thank you and good night”.

The audience cheers again, this time with a standing ovation. There is no doubt, this is Allan’s night. But today there will be no wild celebrations in bars, no more crazy nights, this time he will go home to celebrate with the family; there will be time to party with friends later. 🎉🥂✨
